I've always wanted to know how they can do that.
Where Goldie goes off singing, "Futari ga kitto deaeruyouna mahou wo kakete
Ryoute wo sotto kasanetehora hohoemukara"
while Jared plays his Clarinet.
Wouldn't either of them be annoying while trying to do something?
Goldie and Jared were twins, but friends, however that can happen. I've seen them once or twice silent to each other, but each time Goldie informed me that they were seeing how long they could go without talking to each other. They could do it for a week at maximum.
It was a Monday, stupid Mondays, lousy with bad events and news. My neighbors had gotten into a drunk fight and I heard screaming all night on the other side.
But those were small worries.
Goldie had taught me the phrase,
"A miracle can happen over and over again when no one is looking."
But then Jared taught me,
"This world is just hate and flames, rising to new heights."
Weird.
Goldie often said,
"How soon is now?" when worrying something or to just say it, soothing her, she said. She also said,
"One light in the apartment will soon attract bugs."
She said it meant when your trying to be a bright star, or being pretentious, I like that word better, people will be drawn to the fake smile you have plastered on your face.
Therapeutic.
Jared had taught me about the evils of this world.
"Hate and sorrow are stupid-if love doesn't exist, why should those two?"
He said that basically, love was a mask you put on to feel safe and better, unless the mask kept cracking until it broke.
He also told me,
"War is just a game until someone is shot, or one person cheats until they win."
He never has told me what that really means.
