The Perfect Drug

My mine falls into three halves,
As I slowly go insane.
My brain patterns twirl and spiral,
As I hear through my eyes.

I try to drink myself blind,
But now I can smell my fear.

My head cracks in half and rolls off my shoulders,
I can see all four corners of the room.
I see through.

I touch the taste,
It’s and empty embrace.

I see you,
I see through.

My never mind ripples across the existence,
I’ll never find, if I never mind.

I can feel it now,
I’m losing my mind,
It’s flying away.

The three halves turn to five quarters,
Then are gone.

My brain patters swirl out of existence,
With an audible pop.

The smell of fear dissipates,
As my heart rate slows.

I feel my head,
It’s back on my shoulders.

I embrace the last of the taste,
as it leaves my mouth.

The drug leaves me,
As you smile and wave,
From the window of the car.

You are the Perfect drug.
