As the children were sleeping, they were not aware, (except in their dreams} that the whole forest was breaking into song! The angels were singing, the Flower babies were singing, and a whole chorus of flowers were singing. It was the most beautiful music that you could ever imagine! And this beautiful singing got into the childrens dreams. They also saw the angels, the flower babies and the flowers all singing together in their dreams. What wonderful dreams they had! This made their sleep very sweet.1
The morning sun shone through the trees, and lightly filtered, it's softly shed light awoke them from their deep sleep. All was silent in the forrest and a wonderful peace permeated the air. The children got out of their hammocks ans looked around to find the Flower babies. They found them in the place where they had originally found them. The Flower babies were still sleeping. After all, they had been singing all night long with the angels.2
"Let's not wake them up," the children said in unison. The children began to explore the forest around them. There was so much to see there. It was so very lovely, too. There were all the beautiful flowers, some of which the children had never seen before. They walked around, looking at all the follage and flowers. They came into an area where there was a pond. There were some beautiful swans swimming around in the pond. They were so graceful looking, as they swam around the pond. Do you want to know what the really strange thing about this was? Well, the swans were having a conversation in the human, English venacular.Very stealthily, the children suck up on them to see what they were saying to each other.3
It seems that the geese were talking about flying south for a vacation. "Well, maybe we can ask them for a flight upon their backs. We can perhaps find our way home faster that way," Celine' said. The other two children nodded in agreement. They made their way forward to try to make the swans aquaintance.4
"Hi!' Celine began," What are your names? " The Largest swan looked a little startled and then she replied that her name was Emily. The other swans introduced themselves to the children, as well.Their names were Sarah and Pricilla. The children introduced themselves, as well. "Do you think we can get a flight on your backs?" Celine asked the swans. "Well, how heavy are you?" Emily asked them."Oh, we're not too heavy, I'm sure!' Celine retorted. "Please?" "Well, we will try a test flight, just to see," Emily stated firmly.5
Just then, a soft voice interrupted them. "Is there room for me, too?" A little boy, tattered and dirty appeared.
