He tells me everything will be OK1
He says he'll be back in time for the wedding2
But will he really?3
Will I ever see his loving face again?4
He kisses me goodbye and get on the bus5
I try to be strong for him6
But I can't take it7
Tears stream down my face8
He blows me kiss and then rides off9
Three days go by and I get a letter10
He's there and he's safe11
He says he'll be home in a few months12
Everyday I look at my engagment ring13
And everynight I dream of the day we get married14
I get a letter at least once a week15
They all mostly say the same thing16
"I'm fine, don't worry. I'll be home soon"17
I was feeling sick one day18
I was very upset since he was home the next day19
I went to the doctor, "Your Pregnant!"20
I'm so excited21
Can't wait to tell him22
I'm waiting for the bus23
It's here, and people are coming out24
One guy comes up to me, "I'm very sorry"25
I start to panic26
And when I see the bus pulling away I break down in tears27
Here I am 18 years old, pregnant, and my love is forever gone28

wow, this made me cry....my bf is in the army and im alwasy afraid that he wont make it back, great write...ps,i might be preg this summer! lol, then if he dies i will be left with a baby and no love....hmmm....great poem,lol, bye
