An Interview With A Daniel Doll Face [contest entry]

1. What's you're name and do you like it, why or why not? (If you don't want to use your real name, username is absolutely fine!)

I have many many names, such as Robin Anderson, Daniel Evans, Bobby, Kitteh, Fido, Daniel Doll Face, and Captain Daniel.

Robin Elizabeth Cohen Anderson is my real name. IT IS SO LONG, and I hate it -.- Also the 'cohen' suggests I'm Jewish, which I'm not.

Daniel Evans is the name I will be changing to legally. I take it as an insult when someone calls me Robin.

Kitteh - I was one of my ex's kitteh's =3 Actually, two of them ._. I was Billie's Kitteh originally, but Keegan got jealous, so I became his.

Daniel Doll Face & Captain Daniel - Nicknames.

I have many other sub.names also, which if I listed, would make you very very bored.

2. Do you like animals? Why, why not? What's your favorite? (Anything in there. More the better, remember!)

OF COURSE I LIKE ANIMALS.

In the past I've had budgies, guinea-pigs, mice, gerbils, cats and fish.

Currently I've got six cats and two gerbils.

One of the cats [Molly/Tissue Cat/Pervert -all her names by me] is really really really fat, and she's tried to suffocate me by sitting on me while I'm alseep. She eats tissues on a regular basis, and sleeps in my underwear at the first chance.

When I was quite a bit younger and still played pretend games, I married one of my cats [His names are Tiger and Kaleb]. His real name is Tiger, but he reminds me of an ex friend I really liked called Kaleb.

My guinea pig Albert. Oh God. Don't remind me. ALBERT WAS A TRANSVESTITE GUINEA PIGGIE WARRIOR! Seriously! We bought Albert, and the person at the store told us Albert was a boy, right? AND THEN LOTS OF TINY ALBERT'S APPEARED! ALBERT WAS REALLY AN ALBERTA! So we sold the babies, and moved the two big guinea-pigs appart, but then Albert started stalking me -.- She used to sit on my foot whenever I stopped moving. Once I woke up and she was standing right in front of my face watching me. I swear that guinea pig was plotting to kill me.

My mice, I've had quite a few of these, because I rescue them from our cats. I've had doormice and fieldmice. I usually keep them for a few weeks, and then take them to the park and let them go.

Random fact; when I was a little kid, I used to keep flies and spiders as pets. Later on in life, I fed such incects to our kittens.

5. Where do you live? (This is optional. I understand some people might not want to answer it. I live in the U.S.!)

I live in ENGLAND (yeah mate)

I was born in North Carolina in America, but we moved -sobsob- to England when I was like, 5? 4? I don't know. I used to be a right American kid. I've lived in LOTS of different houses.

Currently I can be found in Yorkshire =3

7. What is your favorite thing to write?

I write a lot of male on male, rape and abuse. I am so sorry about the latter two things. I don't exactly LIKE writing it, I just write it, if that makes any sense.

I am a huge fan of yaoi (my friend Liz and I have recently turned into fangirls [yes, I'm a guy]) and I've started drawing it. I might take up writing it, but that'd mean I'd have to write fanfictions -.- Ugh. I'll just stick with normal gay writing for the while.

8. Are you a people person?

No. I have huge problems with people. I am really really paranoid, and I get so scared when I meet new people. I always think they're saying bad things about me and staring at me. I've been known to cry when I've been made to go out against my will. I could go on, but that'd take a while.

10. How do you feel about war?

I try not to think about it. My mate Kevin is in the IRAQ one.

11. Why do you like StoryWrite?

It's good for my English Lit skills at college, because of anylizing (I spelt that wrong, didn't I? Oh well).

I want to share my work, but a lot of it is stuff that my mates would either hate me, think I was sick (oh joy) or make them really really depressed -.- I put my stories on this site, because I don't know people here in real life.

12. What got you into writing?

I think the first story I ever wrote was called Signing My Lies Goodbye. It was a short story and Oh My God, it wasn't about a gay guy. I'd forgotten about that.

It was the first paradox story of me I wrote, using my [Daniel Evans] name as the main charries name.

It was about suicide [personal, def], self-harm [I know all about this] and it was also about a mother [refered to as Mother by him] who neglected her child and hated him. Most of the mothers I've written about are along those lines. I have reasons for this also, but I won't go into them here.

My English Teacher got so distressed about this story that she sent a copy home to my mother and contacted some other people.

I was thirteen. I got an A. It provoked me to write more.

I did do poetry before this, for other reasons, but that's a whole other story =3

14. Does your writing seem to effect the people around you?

Yes, actually. I generally make them very very depressed -.- I wrote this one novel called Make Me A Hero, and I got so many depressed feedbacks from that xD I almost felt sorry for the readers. Incidently enough, I don't think I have a single story that has a happy ending...

Pity.

**15. Why do you write?

I write to keep myself alive.

If I have an story idea in my head, am in the middle of writing something, or anything along those lines, I can push off the very very depressed feelings I get.

I write to keep myself alive.

Shame then that what I actually write just makes me more depressed.

Author notes

I entered this so I could keep the cravings of nachos off for a little longer.

I had a pet fly once. And a cat. And a guinea pig. But now I just have sisters...

Yaoi fnagirls unite!!! w00t! And writing yaoi wouldn't necessarily mean doing fanfics, would it? Just... random Japanese names. What ones do you read? ...you draw it, too?

...I've turned this into a Q&A. I could so totally ask a million more, too...

      Hm.
I guess, but that'd just be mxm, right?
Yaoi is when it involves manga/ anime?
      I watch animes. I don't read themm.
And yeah, I just recently started drawing it. It's crap -.-

      Sure thing.

Also, I meant to put ''We bought Albert, and the person at the store told us Albert was a boy, right? '' instead of 'told us Albert was a girl, right'

I dunno. I've seen stuff like that put under the sub-category of Yaoi, so I'm not really sure.
Which anime do you watch, then? Would you ignore me if I asked to see your pictures, even though they're 'crap'? Does moving to England mean you have a different accent now?
I have a cousin in the Iraq war...
Does 'Singing My Lies Goodbye' have a place in this site? 'Cause I'm too lazy to look for myself. Should I repost this on the story-thingy where you're actually *asking for questions?

Reading this over again, you remind me of some of my friends...
