If it is all about me

1. What's you're name and do you like it, why or why not? (If you don't want to use your real name, username is absolutely fine!)

My real name is Gabrielle, and I like it, really just because it’s MY name, you know? I’m sure if I was named something else I would like this name, but really I LOVE it because it’s mine, and while other people have this name, it’s still mine. And I’m a greedy and selfish person so I like things that are mine.

2. Do you like animals? Why, why not? What's your favorite? (Anything in there. More the better, remember!)

I do like animals…just not that much particularly. I do like dogs and sometimes I go to the zoo and look at all the animals in their cages. However, I don’t find myself often caring too much about the other species.

3. Do you have any siblings? If not, what about your parents? How do you feel about these people?

I have two younger sisters. And we get violent…a lot. However, I wouldn’t trade them in for the world. (or maybe I would, I’m not too sure about that). My parents are still married unlike everybody else’s parents. Mine would probably be better not together, they’re the reason I think marriage is a ridiculously vicious control circle.

4. Do you know me? (Hah. I like that one.)

No, I don’t think I know you.

5. Where do you live? (This is optional. I understand some people might not want to answer it. I live in the U.S.!)

I live in D.C. and I love living in this city. And America, I can’t believe how lucky I am sometimes to live in this country.

6. Do you like music, and if so, how do you relate it to your writing?

Well, I’m listening to it right now, and I love music. I can’t imagine what it would be like not to hear Patrick Stump’s or Gerard Way’s voice or those amazing riffs and bass lines and drum beats that makes my whole body vibrate if I turn the music up really loud.

7. What is your favorite thing to write?

Fantasy. Or slash (gay/lesbian). Or sometimes mixed together. Mostly because I like to get away from the mundane and average and the cliché. And while the latter is a pain to get away from, I don’t care, and I try to make things as heartbreakingly hurtful and comical, and magical a little too.

8. Are you a people person?

I try! I really do, but people just don’t seem to get my humor or my fashion sense or opinions. It’s a curse, isn’t it?

9. Do you seem to have a lot of REAL friends?

Yes, when I make friends, usually they become close with me. I seem to have a way of drawing people into me. And usually when they get really close they start dressing like me and liking things I do, strange, don’t you think?

10. How do you feel about war?

War is necessary. I hate people who think we can live in a perfect bubble with no war. That’s not ever going to happen, so please step into reality.

11. Why do you like StoryWrite?

I can write and read other’s writing. And we can give each other feedback, which really expands my knowledge of language.

12. What got you into writing?

Books, really. I started thinking about what was going on in the stories, but then I would think “But it would be so much cooler if this happened or if this character did this…”. So then I just started writing what I wanted to happen.

13. Do you have a friend here that you really, really love?

On storywrite? Not really, really love per say.

14. Does your writing seem to effect the people around you?

No one ever really sees it except for maybe teachers, so I can’t say it effects anyone but me. I would like it to though.

**15. Why do you write?

Writing is an escape, some say. For me, it is more of a release of all the crazy daydreams and madness and insanity that roams about inside my head. If I didn’t write, I would never pay attention to anyone or anything because I would be too busy dreaming. But, now that I think about it, I’m usually imagining what I’m going to write…
