In a winter of discontent
The angers of Richard are pent....
...up.
Complains of his brother,
(They have the same mother)
He thinks he should reign instead.
Richard cares not for the lute;
He prefers his courtiers mute.
Naught but pleasures ,
-and delightful measures;
He can’t help but be dissolute.
Richard is deformed,
His lack of attractiveness mourned.
He proves not a lover,
But schemes, undercover,
Shakespeare has this treason performed!
Creates Richard a quaint prophecy,
Concerning a certain ‘G’.
Edward’s heirs should take heed;
To avoid the deed,
They would do best to flee!
