She said that she wanted to cut herself;
he took a Polaroid of her, handed it to her along with scissors, & had her cut it up. 4
She said that she wanted to see her blood;
he took her to get her ears pierced. 5
She said that she wanted to cry herself to sleep;
he had her watch a sad, romantic movie before bed. 6
She said that she wanted to be alone;
he gave her a name tag that said, "My Name Is: Alone." 7
She said that she wanted to have someone there to take care of her, always;
he asked when he wasn't.

I liked this...
It's a refreshingly different point of view on love... and one I haven't quite seen before. It's like he was her savior to a large degree, always saving her from herself.
I couldn't really tell however who "he" was to her... but he could fit the role of her best friend, boyfriend, father, or even her brother (some siblings are best friends that I know of this way). The way you wrote this could really fit any of those types of love. And in the end, it's only the acts of compassion that matters.
This was a good perspective on unconditional love for someone, no matter what type of relationship it is, or how messed up a person may be.

Wonderfully written. If this really happened it would bug the shit out of the person but it shows deep care for the person. I liked how you protrayed that with deep meaning.
It flowed nicely and is easy to imagin someone really do that for a person. It is unlikely but you can wish for it.
Very nicely done. And its funny how soda's name inspired you. But she in herself is a unquie person who as a tendacy to do things like that.

This has an appeal... where the guy does exactly what she wans YET in his own way. I read a quote and it goes something like (I might have badly butchered it though): "Just because a man doesn't love you the way you want him to (love you) doesn't mean he loves you with all his heart."
