Freddy the Fearless Fox
W. Peter Sanci Sept 25 / 2007
Well, well my friends and neighbors, tonight something
Wonderful is about to happen.
Right before you’re very eyes, you are going to witness the birth of a new creation.
Just like baseball pitchers practicing in the bullpen.
My Freddy is ready and willing to get started on making his mark on the world, he’s just like a piece of fruit,
getting ready to ripen.
Freddy is an alright kind of fox, he just doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life, just like most of us.
So let’s see what Freddy gets himself into today.
“ Well ,” he says to himself, I think I’ll be a private eye today.
So he flips through the morning newspaper, trying to come up with an interesting case.
Ha, ha. I’ve found it ! He shouts with glee, here’s the case of the missing “ Sanci Diamond ! ” I think I’ll
Start with this one.
So off he goes to the library to do some research.
When he gets there he notices a stranger in a dark
suit has been following him.
He turns around quickly, but the man runs down an
allies, and gets away. Whew, Freddy says to himself, that was a close one, I ‘d better get to that research now.
Freddy found out that “ The Sanci Diamond ” was once a part of the Crown Jewels of France.
Given to Marie Antoinette by her husband Charles VI.
But they were stolen during the French Revolution, and
they haven’t been seen since.
Wow, said Freddy to himself, if I can solve this case I
can make a name for myself. Where do I start looking
for a diamond that has been lost since the French Revolution, he asked himself ??? Why in France of course.
So he went and booked himself a ticket to Paris, the City of Light, immediately.
But on his way to the airport, something freaky happened. A little old Frenchman, came up to him and
handed him a very old looking bag.
The Frenchman then whispered to Freddy, “ In this sack is that which you seek.”
Well Freddy couldn’t believe his luck.
He hadn’t even got on the plane and his first case was solved already.
Freddy was very pleased with himself, and I supposes you would be too.
Author notes
Well I was looking for another creature to replace Trixie the Pesky Mouse and it took me a long while and then today I just sort of stumbled onto to Freddy. But he's more of a story character than poem so that's why I put him here. I hope you all enjoy him.

WOW!
Pretty cool! Freddy should be given the credit for getting the diamond at last . He had been the master in his own case afterall , and perhaps there wouldn't have been chance for another detective in his place to share the luck on his part .
