Demons Road Revisited

It is August, Friday the 13th 2004. This is a day made famous by the movie “Friday the 13th”. This is a day where people try, and stay inside. While others go out to celebrate and have fun. But not me.  My name is Preston, My plans for this evening, is to revisit Demons Road.  The road is also known as Robinsons Creek road, found in Huntsville Texas. This tyme I am prepared for the worst. I have asked a few others to come along with me, to document, and they are also thrill seekers as well. 1

It is 4:20 in the afternoon, and we all sit around in MY house smoking a blunt, Catching up on more plans for the night.  I asked the others "wot tyme shall we leave?”  "We need enough tyme to get everything set up out there," Seraph replied.   "So  about 6-o-clock will be enough tyme for us to get shyt set up,” I asked Seraph.  "More then enough tyme," Seraph replied.  2

We all get shyt ready packing out back packs and loading up on batteries for the flashlights charging up the spot lights.  Seraph is sitting on the couch loading up his Smith and Wesson 357.  I look up at the clock 5:42 it says.  I yell out "all right everyone lets start packing.”  "Lets get all the bags into Seraph's car, and all the other heavier things into my truck,” I imply.  Everyone starts packing the truck and car. "Who wants to go with me,”  I ask?  Melissa, Jennifer, and, Brian came over to my truck.  While Nick, Jess, and, Veronica, walk over toward Seraph's car. "Follow Me," I yelled to Seraph.3

We are diving down a back road, I tell Jenn to roll up a joint.  I look at the clock in my truck it says 6:13. Jenn rolls up the joint and, I tell her to "spark it up.”  We pass the joint back and forth until it was all gone.  "We are all almost there" I said, as I  turn right on Robinsons Creek Road.  It is a bumpy dirt road.  I look at my clock again, 6:23 it read. "We are here,” I say as I turn left into the cemetery road.  I turn my truck around, and back it up to the entrance of the woods. Seraph starts backing his car to the woods as well.  He pops his trunk open, Everyone goes to grab their bags and supplies.  I drop my tail gate down to grab the equipment, camcorders, video recorders, and so on. I place a few extra batteries in my back pack and a few extra tapes.  I load up the camcorders with fresh tapes, and batteries. I hand one to Jess, Melissa, and Veronica.4

We started walking into the woods.  Everyone is following me.  I look at MY watch, and the hands are going backwards, "Holly shyt!" I say, and tell Jess to "come record this.” She walks over to me and I put out my arm she focuses on into the watch to tape the hands going backwards. We start walking farther into the woods. The sound tree frogs, and distant dogs barking, and breaking twigs as we step on them on, fill the area.5

Darkness is near but still light out.  We see an open field "there is the House,” I say as I point to the house.  "Jess, and Melissa, I want you girls to do a quick film of the property.” They turned on the cams and started going back and forth on the property getting everything in site on film.  We all start walking to the house Jess and Melissa are still taping the property. WE walked up to the iron gates everyone is standing beside me looking into there.  I happened to look down on the ground.  The chain is broken off. I pick them up in my hands and look at them closer, the one chain link looks to be ripped in half.  "Hey guys look at this,” I said everyone crowded around ME to look at it "don’t this look lyke it was ripped in half,” I asked. "Yeah it does," some of them replied.  I put the chain in front of the camera to show the broken link.  I throw it back to the ground, "Ight lets go into the house,” I suggested.  WE start walking over to the house and open the door. Its dark in there we all grab out flash lights and spot lights and turn them on. We shine them around the room corner to corner and down the dark hall way.  WE walk into the house slowly, I again look at my watch, it is going backwards even faster. I asked seraph if "he was wearing his watch, and wot tyme it was,” He replied "Yeah" He looks at his watch "yo dood, My fucking watch says 666". Jess runs over to Seraph to catch it on video she starts to record it.  Then He takes his watch off quickly and throws it as far as he can. We hear the sound of his watch hitting the wall then falling to the floor. "We are in for some major shyt tonight,"  I said to everyone.6

We walked into each room of the house on the first floor.  "Is anyone else cold"I ask?  I look at the thermometer that I have.  It reads 58 degrees.  We walked back out to the stairway, and they are wooden, old and rotted out with some of them missing.  "Ight Everyone Melissa and I are going to go up there. I dun want no one to fall through the floor. So be best if most of the yal waited down here" I said.  Melissa and I walked up the stairs slowly stepping over missing stairs, the sounds of loud creaking steps fill the area, as we ascend the stairs.  Now at the top of the stairs Melissa and I start walking down the upper hallways no windows at all pitch black only With My spotlight. Melissa following taping everything, she can get. We stop at the bathroom door, Its missing off its hinges and laying on the floor. I start to think about wot happened that night I was here. Melissa and I heard a scream coming from down stairs. We run out the room and come down the stairs. Jenn is standing in the hallway with her light shining down into the kitchen area.  She is just standing there, "Jenn are you ok" I ask, she don’t answer and again I ask "Jenn are you ok" still no answer. I walk over towards her. We help her out, seraph wraps his one arm around her and I wrap Myne around her and help Jenn outside.  We start walking out Jess and Melissa are in front of us and Nick and Veronica is behind us. 7

We get outside and the door slams shut after Seraph and I get out leaving Nick and Veronica inside.  We hand Jenn to Jess and Melissa. Seraph and I start kicking at the door as hard as we can. Anything the door is not giving in. We hear more screams come form inside the house.  "It got quiet in there now" I said as I said that, the doors came open. Seraph and I look at each other with a puzzled look. We look around in the room Nick or Veronica no where to be found. I shine my spot light back and forth in the room. I see a shinny grey thing in the corner of the room.  I walk into the house.  I pick it up “its Veronica’s camera," I said.  Its still taping,  I push rewind and stop it when I see Seraph and I running out the door with Jenn. Then the tape went white and black.  Then it shows Me walking over towards the camera pick it up. I take it out and put it in my back pack along with the camera.  We hear another scream but coming from the basement. Jenn takes off running saying "fuck this shyt" as Seraph and Jess and Melissa walking into the house the door slammed shut again.  Again we heard the screams coming from below us. We try opening the door but not luck it is shut and locked,  The screams kept getting louder, We went to go look for the basement door. We run through the dark hall way into the kitchen.  There it is Seraph said. We got over to the door it is unlocked.8

Then We open it and descend the stairs together. The screams stopped. We shine our lights back and forth, there are a few wooden doors and a few rooms, a coal stove in the back, the walls are concrete and bricks, there are parts of the walls that are missing. There are a few windows but they are pained black, and some cob webs are hanging from the wooden posts and ceilings . . . IN one corner there is a white sheet covered over some things. We walk over to it.  The sheet looks’ brand-new Seraph said. Yeah it does I replied. I grabbed the sheet and pulled it off. There is a chest there with a lock on it. "Seraph can you grab the hammer from MY back pack please,” I asked. He grabbed it out and handed it to Me I start hammering onto the lock breaking it off. I take out the lock, and drop it on the floor.  I open the chest there is a dagger and a sword and some altar supplies I grab one of them and looks at it closer it got Pentagrams on it. This is shyt for a Satanic altar," I said. I grabbed the dagger and unsheathed it there is blood on it. “Guys this looks lyke blood,”  I said.  Right after I said that we all heard this Evilish laughter, the kind that give’s you a chill of the spine. I shut the chest with the dagger still in hand, and I sheath it back up. We all shine our lights to where it was coming from. It came from the room in the far corner. We shine the light around. “The doors are all open now,” Jess says.  We walk over towards the room where the laughter came from. We shine our lights around the room, there is a mist lyke aberration, and it is lingering in the center of the room. The room is so cold we all can see our breath.  I pull out the thermometer and look to see how cold it is,  it reads 28 degrees.  The aberration starts moving backwards toward the stone brick wall. The mist starts evaporating into the wall, disappearing out of sight. The dagger that was in my hand at the tyme flew out of my hand, and into the corner where the mist disappeared into the wall.  The blade of the dagger is facing us. The mist starts to reappear in the corner over the dagger.  Seraph yells "Lets get the fuck out of here.”  We all took off running up the stairs. Before we got there the door, slammed shut. We all pull on it hard and harder nothing. Come and Stay Forever we hear in this demonic voice, followed by the most Evilish laughter we ever heard. We start hitting the door as hard as we can.  9

Then We all get pulled down the stairs as if they pulled us down. The basement walls start to ignite in flames, traveling from the room where the mist was lingering. The flames start going around the room fast igniting and growing bigger, the flames travel into the room again. We all stand up and take off back up the stairs. I start hitting the door as hard as I can again kicking at it and hitting it hard.  Seraph yells “get out of the way everyone.” Seraph pulls out his 357 and starts shooting at the knob, making it fall off.  The stairs started to disinagrate  away and crumbles towards us.  We open the door and take off running thought the kitchen and the hallway.  We get to the front door and Jess yells “dammit the fucking door is locked.”  We kick on the door  hard, and seraph starts to shoot at the door knob,  nothing it is not working. We look behind us to see the floor crumbling towards us.  Seraph unloads his gun onto the knob still nothing.  The floor still crumbling closer and closer. We kick and beat on the door as hard as we can. But not fast enough as the floor gives away beneath us,  and we all  fall to the basement floor. Hitting the floor hard.   The walls are  still ablaze. I look around for the others. I see Seraph he is moving around, and  Jess is slowly moving.  I look to find Melissa not moving. “Seraph Help Me bro Melissa is not moving,” I yell as I run towards her.   He helps Jess up and then runs over to Me and Melissa, she is unconscious. “Wake up Melissa, wake up please,” I yell. “Come on wake up,” again I yell. Bro she is not responding to ME. The heat of the flames is getting hotter and hotter and bigger.  We hear the Evilish laughter again, and once more we all hear it say "Come and stay forever.”  Melissa is  still laying on the floor unconscious, not responding at all.  I pick her up and carry her to look for another exit. All the doorways are blocked off with fire. Out of the corner of the room we see a fireball come from the room that had  the mist in.  It is coming closer to us.  The flames on the ball dance wildly and furiously.  As I watch the fire, I see the dagger come flying at me from the center of it, I duck out of the way. More Evilish laughter is rumbled throughout the room.  The fireball is growing bigger and the flames are dancing more furiously. It starts to take shape and begins to levitate off the ground.  Seraph Yells “watch out Preston,” as the dagger comes flying past me again slicing at my arm.  the flames are starting to get bigger and bigger, and closer to us. Seraph starts loading his gun.  “You are not going anywhere,” as the demonic voice rumbles throughout the room.  10

Then the fireball starts making more of a shape, and two long arm looking things pop out of the fireball.  Then it stood up, making more of a shape of a huge bear that would be standing on its back paws. The fire started to go down and go into this thing as it turns black. It tilts it horned  head up at us, and stares at us with its red glown eyes. It starts snarling and growling at us and  showing its fangs.  The beast says in its demonic voice “you shall not leave.” Seraph starts to shoot at this beast, nothing happens it just starts growling louder and more ferocious. Showing its large sharp fangs as it is snarling at us.  Seraph starts to reloads his gun, and gets it loaded.  He pulls the hammer back to shoot more at the beast. But the gun flies out of his hand and across the room.  The beast looks at seraph, and growls at him showing his teeth.  At the same tyme the dagger came flying back towards me and Melissa. I duck, and pull her out of the way. I didn’t get out of the way fast enough and the dagger catches my left shoulder.  I get up from the floor and pick up the dagger, I run after the Beast and I shove the dagger into his chest. He hits me with his back fist, knocking me over to the other side of the room. He pulls out the dagger from its chest, and throws it at Melissa, sticking it into her chest. “You mother fucker!" I yell as I run after the beast I jump on its back and start hitting it hard and try to choke him. Nevertheless, it does not work, he grabs me and pulls me over his back and holds me by the neck. The beast is holding me in its face with my feet off the ground. It starts snarling and growling at me.  I start kicking and punching it in its head.  He throws me back on the floor sliding towards Melissa.  I look at her and I grab the dagger from her chest. I run after the beast, again this tyme slicing at  the beast’s head.  I then shove the dagger into its neck. It lets out a scream, and then again he hits me back to the floor.  Seraph runs after it and starts hitting the beast and kicking it. The beast grabs him by his throat and lifts him up off his feet. Seraph grabs the dagger from his neck and then shoves’ it into the beast’s chest.  "You cannot hurt me," it says in its demonic voice.  Jess runs over to Seraph and the beast and she starts hitting on the beast.  The beast throws Seraph onto Jess.  Knocking them both onto the floor.  I run back to the beast.  I start kicking at its legs and hitting it in the chest, I grab the dagger and  the beast hits me, making me fly back onto the floor.  I get back up and start running after the beast. I shove the dagger into its chest again. The beast grabs me and picks me up again and throws ME up against the flaming wall. I fall to the ground.  Seraph runs and drop kicks the beast in its chest. However, it does not work.  He falls onto the floor. Seraph gets back up and starts hitting the demon.  He grabs the dagger from it’s chest and shoves it into it’s head.  The Demon lets out a loud shrieking scream.  Seraph starts hitting him again and tries to grab the knife. But, the demon grabs his hand and hits seraph with its back fist knocking him over to the corner. Jess runs to him to see if seraph is ok.  The beast walks over to Seraph and Jess. I see seraphs gun, and I run over towards it.  I pick it up the gun and hold it in my hand. I run over to the beast and starts kicking it and hitting it with the gun.  The beast turns around and I fire off three shoots at its head. The beast covers its head and feels the dagger and the beast pulls it out of its head. The beast shoves the dagger into my shoulder.  I fall onto the floor.  I fire off the last three shots,  and shooting it in the chest.  I slowly crawl on My back pushing with my legs, and arms as the beast walks towards me. I grab the dagger from my arm letting out a scream. Blood pouring from the wound, dripping onto the floor.   I try to stand up, wobbling back and forth, trying to get my balance. I shove the dagger into the chest of the beast.  It hits me, throwing me further away. The beast grabs the dagger from its chest and throws it onto the floor.  It keeps walking closer and closer to me. Seraph runs to the dagger, and picks it up. Seraph runs at the beast jumping on its back shoving the dagger into the beasts back and shoulders.  The beast reaches around and pulls him off and throws him up against the flamed walls, Seraph hits the wall and drops to the floor.  Jess starts looking around and sees the chest that had the sword in it.  She opens the chest, she sees the sword, she grabs it and slides it across the floor to the other side of the room "Preston!" she yells I pick up the sword, and I swing it slicing its leg. I slice it across its chest, the beast hits me, throwing me up against the flamed walls, I bounce off the wall and fall onto the floor. I am still, holding on to the sword.  I stand back up wobbling back and forth and trying to get my balance.  I get my balance and swing has hard as I can slicing at the beast’s neck.  I slice back again hitting its neck again, the beast stands still screaming and growling,  I slice the sword back cutting its head off. I shove the sword into the beast's chest as it falls backwards onto the floor. The fire on the walls goes out and I fall onto the floor,  Jess and Seraph come running over to me to see if I am ok they ask "are you ok Preston" "Im ok,” I reply. Seraph and Jess help ME up to my feet. We grab out flash lights that are on the floors.  We shine them back and forth. In the corner of the room we see a shinny grey thing laying on the floor.  We walk over to it and pick it up its Jess's camera.  The tape is still running and recording. Seraph hands the camera to me.  I hit the rewind button. I stop it when I see the walls that where on fire go out. I fast forward the tape, and I see us walking towards it, and being picked up by seraph. I ask Jess and Seraph if they seen my back pack.  Jess replies “it is over by the chest.”  I walk over to the chest and pick up my back pack.  Holding on to the camera I take out the tape and put it into my bag, along with MY camera. I zip up my back and throw it on my shoulders. I start to walk over to Melissa, and kneel beside her I place my fingers over her neck to feel her pulse, nothing, no pulse at all, Seraph says "is she dead man.” “Yes,” I reply. "Lets find a way out of here" I said.  We walk over to the window and knock it out. I help Jess and Seraph out the window. Hey guys I will be right back Im going to go grab the sword. I picked up the sword and brought it to the window. I handed it up to Seraph. I jump up and grabs hold of the window sill and pulls myself out with help from Seraph. 11

We start to  brush ourselves off from all the dirt on our clothes.  We started walking back to the vehicles. When we all walk pass the iron gates, we all see that they are locked now.  The chain is wrapped around and not broken anymore. It is over I said. We continued walking to the vehicles. We walk through the woods one last tyme, more tree frogs, and hooting owls’ fill the area. We look back and to see the house in flames.  This will not happen ever again to anyone. We keep on walking to the cars. We see the reflection of out tail lights ahead.  We begin to run towards them.  I open the door on my truck, and I throw my back pack in the back of my truck. I jump when I see someone laying in the back seat, Its Jenn I replied she is laying in the fetal position crying. I place my hand on her shoulders its ok it is over, she asked if we found Nick and Veronica I replied "No,” "where is Melissa" she asked.” "She was killed" I said.  Ok Guys lets all go to my house I yelled. Jess got into seraphs’ car and I jumped in my truck. We pulled out of the cemetery and turns onto Robinsons creek road. We drive back to the main road. Jenn asked wot happened in there, I told her "you don’t  want know, but.  It is all on tape,” as I smiled at her.12

We pull into my drive way and get everything out of the truck and the car. We all go into my house and I tell Jenn to roll up a fat blunt. We all sit around my living room and talking about wot happened earlier tonight, I walk over to my fire place and lay the sword on top of the mantel.  I go back over and sit on my chair.  I leaned forward to grab my back pack, I open it up and reach inside and grab the tapes and a camera. I stand up and walk over to the TV and put the camera on top of the TV.  I plug the Camera into the TV. I put the tape into the camera and push rewind. I walk back to my chair and sit. Jenn hands the blunt to me and I spark it up. Hitting it hard, and passing it Seraphs way.  "I did not think I would ever get to sit here with yal, nor ever get high again.”  “I am so glad to be alive,” I say. "For real me too," replies seraph and Jess. I gave Jenn a hug and said "Im glad your ok and alive.” I remembered about my watch I look at it again they are going clockwise and are working right, and  the tyme is 11:52. I say to Seraph and Jess “I wander wot happened to Nick and Veronica..”  “I have no clue Jess and Seraph responds.”  I turn on the TV and put it on video mode and used my remote to push play on the camera. I said to Jenn,  “Jenn you asked wot has happened well you are about to see wot just happened.”13
