No One

"How could you do this to me, how?!" There was so much fury in his voice, she cowered in front of him, feeling like a two year old on the receiving end of an abusive father.

As Saras father stared her down with so much hate and anger in his eyes, he raised an open hand. Sara prepared for the hit. 'Is this what I was put on this earth to do,' Sara asked herself.

He hit her across the face and then back handed her with as much force as the last. Sara saw the blood streaming down her face, mixing in with her tears.

"Stop!," she screamed at him. He just wouldn't stop hitting Sara. "Daddy please! STOP!!!"

Sara's father slammed her against the wall and let her be. She ran to a mirror to see how much dammaged her father had done to her. Sara's long dirty blonde hair was wet with blood. What was she too do? School was starting tomarrow and her boy friend Todd was going to go crazy when he saw her injuries.

Sara listend as the front door was slammed and the start of the car. When he finaly left, Sara cleaned up her face and started to pack. She called Todd.

"Todd," whispered Sara. "It's me, Sara."

"Hey, surgar," responded Todd with such enthusiasem. "What do you need?"

"I need you, Todd," Sara told him. "I need you to come and get me. I need your help."

"Alright," stated Todd. "I will be there in about five minutes."

"Thanks, babey. Please, Todd, hurry."

Sara hung up and finished packing all of her things. It wasn't much. Her father had seen to that. The only thing that really ment a lot to her was her mothers locket. Inside were two pictures. One of Sara, her mother, and her father all with happy faces. The other was of her mother's parents.

'Sometimes I wish you never left, mum,' Sara thought.

Sara was already waiting for Todd when he pulled up. She had just put her bag in the back of his camaro when her father yelled.

"And just where the hell do you think you're going!" He was angrier then Sara had ever seen him. 'Now I see why you left, mum.'

Sara ignored him and got into the car. She closed the door just as her father came running after her.

"Drive," she told Todd. And they drove out of the neighborhood, leaving Sara's father staring out after them. "Todd, I love you."

"I love you too, surgar," he reponded. Todd placed his arm around Sara's shoulders and held her close. It felt as if all of her worries where being left behind at her father's house. No one was ever going to beat her. No one was ever going to hurt her. No one.

    wow
    its good!
a nice entry for the contest!
but i think that Todd should have been more talkative...
AND there should be more discription, as i am also checking the contest entries at the discription point...
but the plot is awesome and i loved it
more discription would have made the story a master piece...
    keep up the good work
    good luck in the contest
