Before I would have welcomed the taste of blood. But in your presence, it tastes vile and unappealing.
I feel a sense of bliss with you around me. The air feels warmer, thicker.
I feel your arms around me and I breathe you in. I know you love me. I can feel it in the air. Your whispers echo in my ears.
How can someone as perfect as you be so in love with me? I will never deserve you, no matter how hard I try. But that doesn’t mean I will stop trying. I can’t get enough of you.
With you I feel beautiful, I feel strong, and full of meaning. I never want to let go, my love.
Standing here, in your presence, in this crowd, I’m alone with you. You take me away to a place far from here, in the midst of all these people, to a place where there is nothing and there is no one. Only the two of us in a world all our own.
I never want this feeling to end. I want to stay forever with your arms around me.
