"My hands are searching for you.My arms are outstretched towards you.I feel you on my fingure tips.My toungue dances behind my lips for you...."I began to twirl in my costume.I figured everyone else except Kaira and I had gone home.She had gone to the bathroom.My long black dress spread out around my feet as I sang through the doctor-like mask around my mouth.My shoulder length hair that had been redyed blonde swirled infront of my face."I'm alive!I'm alive!I can feel you all around me thickening the air I'm breathing holding onto what I'm feeling savoring this heart that's healing."

I didn't hear a certain person sneak up behind me as I reached the bridge."Take my hand .I give it to you.Now you owe me.All I am.You said you would never leave me.I believe you.I believe."

"You have a pretty voice.You should sing more often."Came a soft voice.I spun around turning red as I came face to face with a boy wearing a Phantom costume.I turned red recognizing the voice,thankful that the hallway was dark.

"Never sneak up on me like that Christian-baka."I growled quietly adding emphasis to the last word.

"So sorry Sarahitia-san"He added equal emphasis.I winced as he used my full name.

"What do you want?"I asked.I brushed the hair from my eyes.

"To say sorry for saying no.My sister told me how much it hurt you and that you almost cried at lunch the other day."I barely heard his voice but it melted the ice from my heart.I took a step closer and looked into his dark eyes that seemed so full of pain.He held his hand out as if asking for a dance.

"Prove that your sorry.Please."I asked.

He smiled sadly."Alright then."He cleared his throat."If I can't apologize for being wrong,Then it's just a shame on me,I’ll be the reason for your pain,And you can put the blame on me."He stopped.Perhaps it was how my face had softend or maybe because I had taken his hand.

"It's okay...Wanna dance?"I whisperd.He nodded and smiled.I laid my head on his shoulder tense ready to pull away incase Kaira came back soon.

I heard whispering but I didn't pull away from Chris.I opend my eyes though and saw Kaira and almost all of my friends.Valerie and Jake,Anii and Ja-ime.I flushed again but the darkness hid it.Kaira laughed."So you guys solved your problems?"I glared and broke away from her brother.

"You know what?Maybe we should force you to sing Cascada?"Valerie laughed.She pushed a button on her cd player.Music began and I smiled.I danced a little before singing along to the music.Then I stopped.

"Wait so everybody was here the whole time?"I asked.My friends nodded.I twitched then ran to my locker on the other side of the school.I could hear Chris calling me but I ran down the stairs running into more people.I sighed walking out of the building and into the cold,white night.The snow still fell and I twirled around again.Chris ran out the door stopping when he got to where I was standing on the picknick table.

"What do you want?Weren't you part of the whole make Sarah miserable project?"I asked nastily.He looked surprized and shook his head.

"No.I wouldn't do that to you...Because....Well...You're really cool."He looked at the snowy ground turning red.I looked at him for a while then held out my pale hand and he took it.I helped him up to stand beside me.My dress kept out the cold but he was shaking.I took off my heavy red cloak I had grabbed from my locker and wrapped it around him.He smiled at me and pulled me into an embrace.He played with my hair as the snowfall became heavier.I smiled digging my face into the cloak I lent him.

"Do you like me?"I asked my voice barely audible above the wind.I heard his soft deep voice.

"Yes..."I smiled again as my heartbeat slowed to match his.

"I like you too."
