A fair time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, there were the Argnets, and Ragites. These two warring factions, possessed a formidable alchemical knowledge base, yet they all sought the secrets of the multiverse. Yet on the sidelines were always the Gnarls. A secretive race. Neither Argnet, nor Ragnite knew how to relate to them, nor ever discoursed in spurious chatter as to the nature of the Gnarls. But deep in every Argnet's and Ragnite's soul, lay the seed of suspicion. That long ago, lay a suppository of Gnarl knowledge. if only they understood enough, and could beat those wretched symbol worshippers and their runes off long enough to find it.
A billow of white ash fountained out of the head laboratory of the Argnet's, rocking the small moon in almost imperceptible ways. Seen from far off, as Arthur did, it appeared much like gas escaping from a undersea geyser. "Bloody alchemists. thinking they can do magic the hard way! Why bother when we have the easy way?" He muttered, almost sarcastically. Fjord, his crater-mate threw a pebble at him, "I wish they'd give up and realise we don't know. If I held the secrets of the Universe, I wouldn't live in a filthy, stinking mudhole with you!". As repartee went, this was highly novel. For a Gnarl.

I really enjoyed this... It was witty, and yet thought provoking at the same time.
Nothing really to suggest. It was lovely! It didn't seem unfinished to me, I'd be interested to see what you'd think to add!

This was quirky and fun! Since you couldn't finish it..lol. It'll have to be judged as is. Which is fine. so.
Loved the characters, love the storyline. I know it was probably going to be longer..so I have no comment for that. I didn't see any errors..all in all. A very well done story.
