Just Another Day a ..Amen

I was up this morning at the break of day.1

I could not sleep one more moment of the day.2

I had lit a candle and the stove with a single match.3

At last the fire on the stove took hold and beegan to crack.4

5

From far away I could see a glow appear.6

I had though I was early, and I missed.7

The coffee was soon a boiling hot and fresh.8

Coffee now, then breakfast not instant stuff.9

10

First there was the chickens, and cows to care for.11

The dogs and cats heavy under foot as I went on my way.12

I had weeds that had to be hoed out today13

I picked some flowers on my way.14

15

The fire that was banked before I left cooked my breakfast.16

Everyone waited as breakfast cooked in short time.17

By eight everyone was ready to head to town.18

With their hats and coats on and a blanket on ther lap we left.19

20

We greeted friends on the way into town as we went.21

Some we did errons for, others we made delivers for.22

This made the day eventful, and full of accompolishments.23

The back of the wagon soon full as we went both ways.24

25

The day soon ended after we arrived home.26

I was still finishing chores as the sun left the sky.27

There I was back at the stove, dinner almost done.28

I had soon taken to bed after a full day.29

30

The fire was oonly company I had for me today.31

How long the day had lasted for me today.32

Best turn over and close these tired eyes, tomorrow comes to soon.33

How the body tell of all one has completed in a single day.34

Is this supposed to be a poem? Whats with all the extra lines? A lot of the sentences/phrases need to be reworded, because they make little sense.
