Becca sat with a bored look on her face, staring out the window as she ground her pencil into the desk. he teacher was droning on about english or math, or something. What class was this again? She concentrated more on the sky outside. It really should be a sin for it to be so nice out on a Monday. She scanned the room to see if anyone else thought so too. Everyone else seemed to be in the same perpetual state of boredom as her. There was one other kid looking out She'd seen him before, but couldn't remember his name. She was terrible with names.
She turned her attention back to the window. She really did hate that sky. She wanted it to rain, to pour... A loud bang came from the other side of the room. Once she realized it was just a book that had fallen off someone's desk, she went back to condemning that awful sky. To her extreme pleasure, dark clouds had begun to form.
To guys watched Becca walk past them before turning their attention back to the food in front of them.
"I don't know why you insist on eating that," one of them said with mild disgust.
The other shrugged. "Eating is one of the greater pleasures in life," the other replied, popping a tater tot into his mouth. "Besides, I haven't been able to come up in so long, I might as well enjoy it."
"No offense, but you've lost the last three times, what makes u think you can win this one?"
He winked. "This one likes thunder storms."
The group of girls glanced from the guys to Becca.
"Do you think that's her?"
"Obviously."
"Do you think we should tell her?"
"Of course not! You know we're not allowed!"
"But you remember what happened last time HE won..."
"Precisely! If we convince her to choose neither, and run the middle road..."
"ENOUGH!" the one at the head of the table said. "We are NOT allowed to intervene, and we won't. This is their competition, and we must let it play out as it will."
Please tell me what you think

Wow...
Have you done anything else with this? I'm really interested. Who are the mysterious guys? Demons? Lost souls? Fairies? And the girls that aren't allowed to intervene... They remind me of cheerleaders. I don't know why... They could be really fun.
And the boy in her class whose name she forgot - is he a love interest?
You know, you could write an entire series off the back of this. You could turn it into a novel even. It's a fantastic idea, even though at the moment it doesn't seem to have much plot.
Why are thunderstorms important?
What's the competition about?
Get back to me, this is really interesting =]
