Intimate secrets
What are they really?
Lust for relations,
Or lust for blood?
Writhing in ecstasy
wondering when
you’ll finally know
what she really wants.
Kiss on the neck,
Is that the true desire?
How do you know
she doesn’t want
to sink her teeth
into your foreboding flesh?
She whispers,
“I love you,”
seductively into your ear.
and runs her hand
through your hair
affectionately.
Then lets out a little yelp
as you sink your canines
into her shoulder.
Your thirst for the crimson fluids
taking over your senses
taking over you.
You wanted her.
You wanted her body.
You wanted her blood.
You desired her flesh.
She loved you.

I don't even know why I wrote this. I've only read ONE vampire story my whole life. ONE. And that was a short story written by JuliaAlexandrovna about a female vampire that desired her own body and ends up..doing something that I won't tell you because YOU HAVE TO READ IT YOURSELF!!

Wow, really good poem. How did you know that I LOVE vampire stories, movies, books or poems? This one was different than most...I think I found that it had originality. My favorite line was:
"Your thirst for the crimson fluids"
Usually people say, "Crimson blood" but you said "Crimson fluids" and it made a huge difference!!! Good job!! Really. I loved reading this and thought it well-written. Good luck in the contest and thank you for entering! I'm going to add you to the finalists list. -

I doubt I will go more into this category without reading at least three books about vampires. I am currently reading a book where this normal kid transfers to this High School where everyone's a vampire o__o
