Lidia was a teen that needed excitment. Day in and day out she would sit in front of the computer talking to here friends for about two hours. She'd then spend the rest of the day being bored out of her mind. Being bored all the time would never prepare her for the events that would take place in the tiny farm town she lived in.
Twas a long day at the Miller house and Lidia was exhuasted. Not exshuasted because she was tierd, but becasue it was constatly the same thing happening everyday.
Lida adressed her mom. "Good night mother. I'm of to dream of gouagin my eyes out with a spork....That'll be the most exciting thing that would of happened to me latley."
" Why do you talk like that? Allan and I have asked you many times to come camping with us, and to come to dinner and all sorts of stuff on the weekends. You've declind all invataions. It's not our fault it's yours." There was a brief scilence. " Why don't you come with us?" She asked.
" I don't like Allan that much. He keeps trying to be like dad. And it's really....cliche. Allan is nothign like dad. If he was himself maybe I wouldn't think of him as such a dork." Lidia replied.
" Hrmmm Maybe you should talk to him. Maybe he's doing that to show you he cares. I'll see you in the morning, love ya."
" Love you too mom." Lidia waked away with understanding about her momthers boy freind and why he acted like the nice guy her dad was before he passed away.
"UHRG!" was the only word Lidia could find to exspress the slight guilt she felt for rejecting Allan as a future step-dad. She was tierd of dealing with him every day, she wants to say something to him but she's not sure how to say it. IF only she could dissapear for a while and think. Forget everything else and just relax and think of what to say to him.
Maybe Monica, (her best friend), would know what to do, or how to cope with this weird feeling.
