Lessons of Life

The place we call afterlife is not afterlife at all.  The life we are living now is the afterlife.  In this afterlife, we are here for a reason.  We are here to repay a debt or to learn a lesson of life that we did not learn in the life before this one.  The irony is that we have no memory of why or what it is that we are here for or supposed to learn.  It is kept deep in our unconscious and it guides our every decision and thought.  Since our thoughts create our reality,  we come into this earthly plane and unknowingly create all of our learning situations and circumstance.1

It is only the very few who after years of soul searching have the truth of this life revealed to them and they are able to regain the memory of why they are spending another lifetime here on this earthly plane.  It is for these few that the greatest lesson to be learned is revealed and that lesson is forgiveness.  This lesson in forgiveness is unlike any ever taught us in our religions. 2

The forgiveness that we are taught from the time we are born is to ask for our own forgiveness but know that we are not worthy of forgiveness.  We are to forgive others as we are to forgive ourselves.  This lends the question: "If we are not worthy of forgiveness, then how can others be worthy of being forgiven?"  3

This is the reason that we have to live life after life after life until we remember that we are here to learn forgiveness.  When we are through with this frail and fragile body that we inhabit while here on this earthly plane, we return to our real reality.  Our real reality is a place of higher learning and telepathic connection to all knowledge of all things in the Universe.  We review the life we have just lived and evaluate the lessons learned and what could have been better.  How well did we do at learning true unconditional forgiveness?4

It is this one lesson that all of the Universe is based upon.  Once we return to our true reality, we review how well we learned to forgive ourselves of fear.  It is fear that keeps us having to return to this earthly plane life after life.  First, we must overcome fear of abandonment, second, we must overcome the fear of loss of self esteem, and third, we must overcome the fear of unconditional surrender to the Universe.5

Universal forgiveness begins with learning to love ourselves for who our spirits are and our wandering minds that created the sense of abandonment from the Universe.  The reality of life is that life on this earthly plane is really a dream and we have never been separated from the Universe.  We then need to learn  to love ourselves and understand that we are Love.  We are worthy and deserving of love and our self esteem is not based on what we have accomplished but in learning that we are love and connected to everyone else in this Universe.  So, we learn to forgive ourselves because we are Love and we are worthy and deserving and being connected to everyone else makes them worthy of forgivenes also.  6

The last lesson in forgiveness is to learn to let go of what we think we know when on this earthly plane and learn what we really know being connected to all knowledge of the Universe and to forgive ourselves for trying to control all things around us and to let the Universe guide us in all things.  When we have brought all of this into our conscious awareness, then we never have to live life after life again.  We connect to the All and all space and time is no more.  We awake from our dream world and realize we have only been dreaming these lives we have appeared to live.  It is at this point that life after life is no more.7

Oh, how true this is. You wrote this beautifully and so expressively.

It took me nearly a lifetime to reach this point. Learning to forgive yourself is probably one of the hardest lessons, but the reward is awe inspiring.

  • Oh wow. Long, complicated, but very deep story. I like how you argued your side of the story, very well done.
    Good luck!

I'm a little disappointed it wasn't really a story, but I'll judge it the way I do any piece of literature.

You tend to use certain phrases a lot. Keep an eye on that.

Your take is original, but not like "shockingly" original. Keep on trucking.

As far as essays go, it was good.
