God gives Grace (Chapter seven)

The weeks past and grace went to church each week, on Sunday and Wednesdays. She enjoyed it she got a bible and read it, But Hope and Marry forgot to ask her to the Wednesday service, one week. Grace didn't show up, she had become shy overtime, in things like this, she was no longer blunt and bold. But more humble when she didn't show up on her own, Marry and Hope became worried.


The next day they didn't bug Grace about it, which she was thankful for, but they didn't ask her to the Sunday service either. Thats when it hit her, if she was going to continue to go to church, she would half to go on her own, or ask to go. Marry and Hope wouldn't always be there. So she got up her courage, and walked up to Marry and Hope.

"Um..." Grace paused for a moment as Marry and Hope looked at her.  "Can I go to church with you guys Sunday?"

Marry and Hope looked at each other real quick, then they both jumped up, and they both hugged Grace.

"Of course you can!" They both said with excitement.

"someone was asking about you." Hope said as a smile formed on her lips.

"Who?" Grace asked. (She really had no idea.)

"Oh just a special some one named, Mark." Hope said as her smile got bigger.

A blush creeped up Graces cheeks, "wha.." she hit hope playfully.1

"He really did." Marry confirmed "He asked where you were and I said we didn't know."5

Grace turned scarlet now, truth be told she had thought about him, but she never thought He did.9

So they went to church on Sunday, Mark greeted her, and Charlene invited them all over for lunch. 13

Charlene (on purpose) sat Mark next to grace (in case I didn't say there ages Mark is 24 now and Grace is 22 ;-) ) they gave thanks and ate.17

That night John Brown (the preacher in case you forgot) talked about coming to the Lord he said,: "Isaiah 25:9 says,: And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. "Jesus is coming back again he will return for the church I'm glad I'm saved because you are only part of the church if your saved, so I rejoice that I'm saved. lets turn to John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Shall we stand together," he said as everyone arose. "Mark will you lead us in prayer?"44

The preacher asked and mark began to pray,: "Lord Jesus we thank you for this day, it is a blessing to come before you,I pray if any one here is not saved that they would come to know you and ask you into their heart and know of your peace and strength. we ask for your guidance in the things we do in Jesus name, Amen." 50

Grace tapped Hopes shoulder. "Yes?" Hope asked curious as to what her friend wanted. 58

"Um..." Grace started shyly. "C.. can I ask the Lord into my heart?"63

Tears of joy came up in Hopes eyes "Of course you can."67

"Will you help me, you know ask?" Grace asked71

" I would be honored." Hope lead her to the kitchen in the back, and sat her down. "Now I don't think I should say the prayer for you but I will help when you ask him into your heart, Admit you are a sinner believe that Christ died for you and confess to others that you believe, but you don't half to shout it.75

"o.k." Grace said. she bowed her head and said: "Lord I am a sinner I have done many things that are wrong, and... I know I'm undeserving but please come into my heart I believe that you died for me, and I ask you to come into my heart, in Jesus name I pray, Amen." all of a sudden she felt such comfort like a burden was lifted off her chest she felt such peace.79

Hope had tears in her eyes as she hugged Grace and asked: "How do you feel?" 86

"I feel great I feel peace and comfort and its inside of me."94

Grace cried as Marry came in and asked what happened, Grace told her she got saved tears came up in Marry's eyes as she hugged Grace and said: "All the angels in heaven sing on this day for a child of God has been born." 103
