The day I never thought Would come!

1

Jobs Done, Flower arrangements made, all thats left is to decide what to wear. What do you wear to your friends funeral? Black? She didn't want us in black as its too depressing. Well i'm sorry Mel but i think now that you've died it is rather depressing don't you? Still i settled for my black velvet top, baggy blue jeans and black track top incase it gets cold, oh and an overload of tissues!!2

I'm meeting Tor,Emma,Laura and Xtina tomorrow at 11.00 ready to meet everyone at 11.30 when the procession will start.3

I needless to say didn't sleep well that night along with the two weeks leading up to what i now call 'The day of doom' or 'The day i never thought would come' Well what do you expect she was only 15.4

Anyway, i woke up 2hrs after actually falling asleep puffy and red eyed from crying no less, scrambled out of bed brushed my hair half heartedly and then got dressed. I applied a bit of make-up so i didn't look too much like the walking dead - No jokes nessecery.5

Got to Tor's and it was time to leave so i was rushing around and didn't have time to think. Probably Best.6

We went to Mels went inside to see Sandra and Phil (Mels Parents), barely anyone was there at the time so we stood looking at the thousands of flowers in this 10x10 garden.7

We stood outside on the road waiting, soon there was about 500 people no lie waiting for the horse and carriage in which carried Mels coffin. when it arrived there were outbursts of crying all round even from jamie, Mels boyfriend, I guess we'd all been cryin from the 2nd May (when she died) to today 18th (due to be buried.8

We walked for about a mile to the cremetorium where we were to use the hall in order to say our goodbyes, Mario winans was played on the way in and echoed the walls so we all cried again, we were exited with FURB from frankie, it was the hardest hottest day but all 500 walked and walked like there was no tomorrow.............9

Wow you are a true friend... This story is amazing. Writting is a great way to deal with emotions. And remember you will see her again one day and She will always be with you in heart and mind. Watching over you from heaven. keep writting

    loving, careing story

i don't quite know what to say to you except of course the normal condolences which i now extend to you at this time along with my prayers. but i do know i would tell you what a wonderful job this is of recounting such a sad event. and you honor your friend greatly by the beautifully careing and dignified telling of her passing and the very profound effect this had on so many.

god just had to bring such a special angel home.
and so may you look to him to comfort you in this time of morning, may god bless. very sincerely, amber xx

aww...this is so sad. I'm sorry that this happened to you, but it was a good thing that you could express your emotions this way. You did a good job on this and you should keep up the good work I'm sure your friend would want you too.
