During the first age of the world there existed many divine and profane beings. The divine consisted of pure souls bent on serving the Creator and all his needs. The creator made angels devout, pure, and possessing absolute beauty. The angels to be his leaders upon the earth. Also bringing unto the world the race of elves creating the wood elves a tanned slender people to teach and guide the humans. The Keeper, who was jealous of the Creator's followers made his own. Thus born on the world were the demons and vampires of old. During this age vampires were not affected by the sun and weren't cursed with a blood-lust.
A feud soon erupted between the divine and profane the reason for this war is believed to have been started by the Keeper wanting more land and power. But the war was one sided the demons and vampires couldn't die even in battle for their souls would return and bodies would be restored by the Keepers black magic. The elves powerful, intelligent, and gifted with magic, but the race was mortal and because their souls wouldn't return to their fallen bodies. Soon the elves found a way to be in balance with the demons and vampires. By tapping into the power of the creator, they were able to live no matter how many blows tried to fall them. However the two god's soon became tired of war and made peace opting to leave the planet to it's own devices.
During this time the elves created the common creatures of the world but by far their greatest contribution was the creation of the humans who became the slaves to the elves. The elves at this time began to split into a new generation of white elf's who became known as wood elf's. With this racial splitting came their diminishing power. Even though a simple combination of knowledge could have helped them renew their power the elves took a harder route and split into two different racial groups the two groups went their separate ways and became very violent towards each other. The dark elves became obsessed with the Keeper and his direct lineage into the world and therefore power and immortality became most important to them. The wood elves became more focused on the creators followers left on the planet.
A war began amongst the two groups, the wood elves seemed to have the upper hand for the creator seemed to favor his white children and granted them strength and invulnerability and taking away the dark elves immortality. Then the dark elves unleashed a secret weapon they unleashed their human vampires. By mixing the blood of the old vampires with that of their human slaves. The result was a tyrannical loyal race. These vampires multiplied quickly, but were weak to sunlight which turned them to ash. With the help of their elf allies the sun was taken from the sky. With these new allies the dark elves began to push back the wood elves.
The wood elves began to find a savior to bring back the sun and hope to them. They tested with elemental powers using the elves themselves as a vessel for elemental spirits. These tests failed miserably, but this attracted the attention of the angels. With the help of the angels came a grid lock. Under the guidance of the Arch-Angel came the introduction of the light's savior. For unannounced to all the angel fell for the head of research. With the birth of their child came the end to the two who had to sacrifice their lives to give the child life. The elves used some of the child's blood to bring out the sun. Light returned to the world killing thousands of human vampires.
The demons and old vampires awoke to find a war and supported the dark elves who they shared a common thread with. So they fought full power with unbridled strength, this helped stop their destruction but they needed hope. Their wish was granted in the birth of one girl. Her father was a decedent of a powerful demon-vampire family, and her mother was the leader of the war effort. The two sides had reached then second and final gridlock. This lasted till the two children were of twenty looking by human standards.
Upon the field of battle the girl named Lorishra came upon a man to turn her head. Over one hill in front of her she saw a man in glowing white clothes left and right he killed all in his path none could take him. He was tall and handsome his calm blue eyes pierced her heart like an arrow. His hair the purest white flew in the wind, she was in love with him from that second on. He sliced clear through the vampire guard and was preparing to order a charge when he stopped and looked straight at her. Before a fluttering angel made a dive for her. 1
In the valley Kain had been fighting hard but the armies of the dark kept coming relentlessly. Nothing slowed them, he had killed so many. He led the charge but stopped when he saw something that stopped his heart. At the edge of the valley stood a tall magnificent woman. Her hair of the darkest ebony, her eyes a piercing red and black. She wore a tight blood red mythril chain suit which hugged her every curve. An angel swooped in from the heavens trying to snatch her up, she grabbed him by the neck spun and sank her long fangs deep into the creatures neck. Draining all of it's life blood the angel's blood ran all over her and she fell back to her camp ordering a withdrawal.2
The two saviors came to power on both sides and tired of war. There came a time in which no one attacked and it was silent. After a week of this armistice there came a call from both sides that the two leaders meet. Dressed in her black mythril armor Lorishra came to the assembly with her five naked vampire slaves attached at her hip by chains. Kain appeared in his flowing white arch-angel armor made of a metal unknown to all but the creator himself. The two fell in love again remembering their first meeting. They marked the peace with their marriage.3
The two leaders were married, this finally ended the war which is what both sides wanted. The couple lived happily and had twins both children were extremely powerful even at a young age. But were exact opposites each representing on of their parents. Around this time the Creator and Keeper came back to the planet. Finding most of the surface destroyed from war, enraged the creator who lashed out at the dark-elves destroying the mother of the two children.
The Keeper in retaliation to this fought with the leader of the wood elves and killing the childrens' father. But but only the father's body was found, his armor never was. The child who resembled his mother was found by the Keeper and given to a powerful demon family to be raised. The Keeper was not cruel he knew that the child had great potential. The other child was given to a human family. The two gods before leaving again restricted the power and magic of the elves. This allowed for the humans to form the Empire, they spread like wild fire putting all under their rule. They destroyed all books they could find and forced the elves into slavery. For the humans had adapted themselves to magic and became very powerful. So the world went on and the children grew up separately never knowing their past, or the tremendous power they possessed. This is the story which has been passed down for a thousand years by the Imperial Temple. But not all stories are the way they were told.

Good as a prologe. It sets the stage nicely and is told as if it were history, something true.
