Haunted Visions (part 6)

Suzi dragged her into the bathroom; while she checked too see if anyone was in Sharon just stood at the door. “Right, coast is clear, spill it.” Suzi said.1

“There’s nothing too spill Suzi, honestly I am fine.” She said looking at her feet.2

“Well if that’s so why the hell can’t you look at me when you tell me that? C’mon Sharon, you have never kept secrets from me before so why start now?” Suzi sat looking at Sharon, trying to work out herself what was going on?3

“The woman, who was she? Gary isn’t having an affair is he?” She inquired.4

“Oh god no, Gary wouldn’t do that too me or Jamie.” Sharon said.5

“Well, who is she?” Suzi persisted.6

“I’m not sure, she came into the office this morning, going on about visions and stuff. Then she rang just before you came in and well she was watching Jamie or something. Then across on the street just before we came in here, there she was. Watching us. She has me kind of spooked, she left a business card on my desk.” Sharon said.7

“Show me.” Suzi asked.8

“No Suzi, it’s okay, there’s no need too worry.” She said trying to believe those words herself.9

“Show me.” Suzi’s voice began too rise.10

“Suzi!” Sharon let out a sigh, she shuffled in the spot where she was standing and handed over the card too Suzi. As Suzi read the numbers on the card she reached into her bag and took out her mobile phone.11

“What you going to do Suzi, don’t do anything silly now.” Sharon begged.12

“Look, she’s scaring the shit out of you, what the hell do you expect me too do? Let her get away with it? And if she’s watching Jamie, that’s worse.” Saying as she dialled the number. It was just a short ring before a woman answered.13

“Hello.” The voice said.14

“Hi I’m Suzi, Sharon’s friend, you know the one you’re stalking? I swear you leave her and her kid alone you sick mother fucker or I’ll have the police onto you.” Suzi said, trying to keep calm.15

“You don’t know what you’re getting yourself into here, walk away from it while you still can. What has Sharon told you? Did she mention anything about what she had seen this morning? Tell me this is important, I need too know.” The woman asked in an even tone.16

“Visions.” Suzi said. “Look, I’m telling you squat and that’s the way it is going to be. I’m not stepping back from anything, especially a friend, so leave her alone damn it!”  Suzi said getting frustrated.17

“Fine have it your way, but she’s going too need me sooner or later. I’ll be waiting, and watching. Good day too you young lady.” The phone went dead. Suzi looked at Sharon, “So what’s this about visions?” Sharon could feel herself blushing.18

“Visions? I don’t know what she’s on about.” Suzi looked at her, “Well she seems too think you seen something this morning.19

“Oh, that. Well never seen anything just got a bit freaked because Joy’s door was open and she never answered me, just started too get a little worried is all. No big deal really.” Sharon said hoping Suzi would believe her.20

Suzi eyed Sharon, “Okay, if you say so. But why would she tell me too step back from you while I still could?” She asked.21

“I don’t know, she’s crazy maybe?” Sharon replied.22

“Maybe… But I’m not going anywhere okay? You ever need me you know where I am.” Suzi hugged Sharon and said, “C’mon girl, lets get out of here. Some of us have work to do.” As they left the bathroom they both went their own way. Suzi shouted back, “You know where to get me okay? Give me a call if you need me. Love you.” As she walked off, “I know, you too okay.” Sharon watched Suzi leave the building as she got into the elevator.23

Gary sat watching Jamie playing in the park on a near by bench, when a lady sat down next too him. 24

“Hi there.” She said with a smile.25

“Hello.” Eyes still on Jamie.26

“He your child?” She asked, looking at Gary.27

“Yep, that’s my boy,” as he turned too look at her. Gary turned too look at the lady, she must have been in her early 50’s with the same colour eyes as Sharon, green, aubourn hair and a complexion of a 15 year old, if it hadn’t been for the age in her eyes you would have thought she was younger. She was a little taller than Sharon and a bit bigger build.28

“He’s a cutie huh?” She said with a smile.29

“Takes after his mother, she’s the ones with the looks and the brains.” He said laughing, “He just has my hyper ness.”30

“He also has a strong will too, he’ll need that if he’s going to survive.” She said. Gary looked at her again, “Yeah, life can be tough, but if bring him up right hopefully that will count for something,” he said.31

“He’s going to fight for you all soon, you want too hope he has the courage to do it.” Keeping her eyes on Jamie.32

“What, you some kind of physic or something? What makes you say that?” Gary asked moving to the end of his seat turning towards her.33

“You could say that, but just bare in mind, nothing will stand in it’s way.” She said.34

“It’s way? What do you mean its way?” His voice getting deeper.35

“Just be prepared that’s all I’ll say, your wife has my card, maybe you should ask her?” She got up and was just about to walk away.36

“You know my wife? Who are you?” Gary asked.37

“You’ll find out soon enough.” She said turning her back.38

“Daddy, daddy, look at me.” Jamie shouted, Gary turned his head towards him, and quickly looked back. The woman was gone.39
