Laying down in the grass
Where he threw her down
Physically, and emotionally
Oh, she is just so alone
She slowly drags herself up
Face the evil thing
Who threw her down, broke her
She is just now seeing
The thing she thought she knew
She is just now seeing his real heart
She can’t seem to face the horror of it
End it now, shouldn’t have ever started
She finds the courage inside to tell him
To stop, once and for all
She needs to find the courage
To face him, push him against the wall
All he does is push her around
She used to say it didn’t hurt
She finally got fed up
With him treating her like dirt
Her time to take a stand
She threw his stuff out
The window into the air
Started to scream and shout
She told him how it felt
To be abused
To have your heart torn
Tired of being misused
Face down in the dirt
She said this doesn’t hurt
She finally had enough
