"Gee thanks a lot Serena!" The cute little Cayley said as she hugged Serena. "Don't worry about it kiddo. Treat her well though."1
"Oh I will, this is the bestest doll ever! I won't let her outta my sight!".2
"That’s my girl! Well, I gotta go to work now. Say hi to your mom for me."3
"I will" she beamed "Bye Serena".4
"Bye-bye love."5
Serena strode away still smiling. Cayley always put her in a good mood. She was so adorable. She had once saved her as an angel, and she loved the girl ever since.6
Serena worked as a waitress in a coffee restaurant. It was always crowed from noon till two in the afternoon, being one of the few resturants on that street in the middel of the city, close to so many business complexes. Her shift was right during these hours and she realized she liked it because when she was this busy, she could keep her mind off anything else but her work and the pay was good enough.7
It was 3.00pm Serena was handing a cup of coffee to some elderly looking businessman in a fading suit when she noticed a friendly face walking into the shop. "Hey girl!" The African-American girl mouthed as she frantically gestured her to come outside for a while. Serena swiftly turned to one of the other waitresses. "Hey Sherry can you cover for me I'll just be a sec..". The waitress nodded as Serena swiftly stepped outside.8
"Reeeeena hi!" The black girl chimed as Serena hugged her warmly. "Hey Monica!" Serena beamed, "What are you doing here? You know how busy this place gets."9
"Its Friday!" Monica said in her usually chirpy that always made Serena shake her head and laugh. "And? -"10
"And I'm inviting you over for the weekend!”11
"Monica..." Serena whined playfully. 12
"Girl no excuses this time" Monica said beaming as her dark curls bounced restlessly about her neck. "Think about it.... just you and me finally spending some quality time together...also a good time to forget about you-know-who."13
"Yea I do need that." Serena agreed,” I’ll think about it."14
"You always say that. but this time it’s done. Pick you up later tonight."15
"Monicaaa?..."16
"See ya.." Monica said and was off with a dramatic wave of her hand and zoomed off in her red porch.17
Serena shook her head and walked back in. She thought she was quite lucky to have a friend like Monica. She did need some one one to fill the aching gap in her heart for Victoria. Plus She was the only one who knew about her being a "retired angel"...and about Jason, only because Serena also saved her life once. At first she thought Monica was just too wild, jovial and extravagant to be friends with, but there was more to her than that, she realized. They had gotten closer than ever over the months, and Monica had invited her to spend a weekend at her Dad's big mansion that sounded nice because this time she was acually going to accept, or forced to accept.18
Serena walked back into the restaurant daydreaming when another waitress walked towards her and said, "Serena the young man over there would like a cup of coffee. Could you get that?” 19
"Sure" Serena said, pulling out her note pad and pen and walking over to the man who sat with his back towards her. "And how would you like your coffee sir?" She said formally with her buried in her notebook ready to write his order down. 20
"Black...how else?" Said a painfully familiar voice. Her eyes widened as she stared up from notebook only to see Jason's dark eyes boring right back into hers. She gave a frustrated sigh, "What are you doing here!" She muttered.21
"Hi angel." He greeted her with his dazzling boyish grin. 22
"Gosh Jason! I'm busy!"23
"We need to talk...when do you get off." 24
She gazed at him in his black leather jacket, god he looked dashing, he always wore black. It suited him... "Ugh!"She shook the thought away."7:30"25
"Good I’ll see you then."26
"Why!" Serena hissed, "I told you, I'm not accepting you stupid proposal!"27
"I'll be there anyway."28
"Just quit bugging me okay? I working!" Serena began to walk away.29
"Hey" Jason called after her loud enough that the person at the table could hear. "How 'bout throwing in a couple of fries with that coffee angel?"30
"Sure" She muttered between her gritted teeth as she squeezed tightly on her pen to supress her anger. She sure would like throw a couple of things at him besides fries. Who ever heard of fries and coffee anyway?31

I'm wondering what he did to Cayley. So is Monica a human and Serena a retired Angel, or is Monica the retired angel. I'm a bit confused. I noticed a few spelling errors, porsche in place of porch, that was the most noticeable. I think the story is moving along well. Good introduction of new characters and Jason, the demon, sounds so much like a dead sexy bad boy. Sure....I'd go for him. jk..

Well, I must admit that it wasn't nearly as good as the first chapter. But it was still good. Maybe you could do a grammar check and spruce it up a little. Add a little more to make it longer?
