I seem to have a few story bits and story ideas that have been languishing in old notebooks. Until now, I've had all these ideas, stories that march through my mind and play out like I'm watching a movie, but they were all "some day" stories.
Stories that I created and I know, but they were waiting for that "someday" when I'm a good enough writer to do them justice or for some undefined time when I'll have enough life experience to write them.
Neither one of those "somedays" has come to pass, but I'm going to write them here and just keep working on them until I finish them! So I guess these are really my first short stories ever.

I also have a similar outlook on writing. I'm saving a special subject matter for the right moment before I begin writing it.
