Welcome to my page, old friends, new friends, and future employers! My name is Shay and I'm a student and aspiring journalist/novelist, but currently most of my writing outside of school consists of a lot of poetry and some fictional short stories. This account contains several short stories I've written over the past 3 years, both for school assignments and personally. The ones that are pinned to this page (below) are some of my personal favorites. Please take a look, comment if you have an account, and I hope you like what you see, although I always welcome constructive criticism. (Please note before reading that much of my writing contains obscenity, violence, erotica, and/or references to illegal drugs and smoking, and may cause strong emotional reactions. Please also remember that as a poet I am very open about my emotions, and much of my writing is based on events and people in my personal life.) Thanks!
