But is it possible for you to see
beyond the surface perfection
from these flimsy snapshots of my life
into the tainted soul underneath?
I'm just a girl living my life as best I can,
coping with all that remains after you left
this trail of destruction
from his so-called love.
I guess it's what I should've expected
but that doesn't make it hurt any less.
So this is my final goodbye,
&& I guess it'll just have to do;
Because I'm heading in a different direction now,
somewhere far away from my past.
