Hey, and welcome to my page! :]

I'm Mai, if you haven't figured out by the username, and yes indeed, I am a writer.

A lot of my writing is a creative twist on things that have happened to me, or an idea of mines that I have taken to the next level in a story.

Please leave me comments and criticism, I'm still young and I know that there is a lot of room for improvement for me.

Don't be shy! I love talking and meeting new people, feel free to send me a message, email, instant message, etc.

    Hello shuni,

My Username is CactusJack and everyone on the site simply calls me Jack. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.

You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After three days the membership expires and you become a regular member.

I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. 1. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group

It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.

I have include below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site. There are some very helpful and entertaining columns on the home page.

One in particular is fun things to do around Storywrite http://storywrite.com/column/show/161

To find all the emoticons http://storywrite.com/column/show/53

    Chatterbox conduct. http://storywrite.com/column/show/57
