Tessa.
I live in NYC.
I'm 17 years old.
I'm an only child.
...
I am not typical
I am not your cliche teen writer
Or atleast i hope you don't see me that way
...
I have good friends and family, and lead a good life.
Sometimes a take it a little too far at parties, I can be kind of wild...
I like to think it's all part of my charm.

Today I've decided to start keeping a very short diary, one that hopefully i'll be remembering to update daily, on this page. So, here are some basics: my two best friends have the same birthday and were planning to drive down the shore and throw a kegger in my guy friend's shore horse. Considering...ITS NOT MY BIRHTDAY...why are they putting ME in charge of the list and getting mad everytime I invite someone!
25 Truths
(after reading this over I realized how many times I started the sentense with "I"...but it is twenty-five truth about ME so i'm going to be a little self-absorbed =)
1). I love soundless night drives
2). I hate sunny sunday afternoons
3). I have OCD and not the typical sort
5). I write with extreme subtly, and because of it...never win contests =/
6). I love green olives with pimentos and cottage cheese with paprika.
7). I'm embarrassed to show/read anyone my writing. Sometimes I have my best friend read it, but he never gets the point.
8). On the matter of friends, 90% of them are guy friends. All my girlfriends seem to have drinking/drug problems.
9). I tell my friends I love the beach, but really I find it boring.
10). I'm a tennis instructor.
11). I have my motorcycle license.
12). I don't want to be associated with the "typical teenage girl" on this site.
14). I have no idea where I want to go to college.
15). I have guilty pleasures: I watch "secret life of an american teenager"
16). I wish I could speak another language.
17). I put balsamic vinegar on EVERYTHING. (and hot sauce, Franks Red Hot is the best.)
18). I dislike people who are stuck-up. I was fortunate enough to come from a wealthy background but realize how accidently lucky my fate it.
19). Fate is the wrong word considering I don't believe in it. situation would be a better word.
20). some people say they find pleasure in the little things in life, but i think they're saying that just because it sounds so insightfully oblivious. I truly do love the ridiculous little things in life.
21). I love architecture and beautiful homes. I don't want to be an architect but I am obsessed with exterior and interior designs.
22). I will always live in a place where there are 4 seasons.
23). I don't mind school, and actually enjoy high school.
24). I'm not into relationships and commitment. I'm 17, I should be having fun and hooking up. I have my late 20's and 30's to be dedicated and monogamous.
25). Although it seems as if I constantly surround myself with the company of my friends, I desperately need a little alone time each day. At least one hour.
