List: City & Country

The ranch wasn’t the best looking place, even at its best it wasn’t much of a beauty. There was the usually horse stable, which now only housed one horse. The very old and worn down Mrs. Betsy. Across the way a bit was the hog swamp, home to a few healthy pigs. Behind the house was a pond. Not too well kept, but it gave good home to a few duck families each spring to fall seasons.

The house itself was a plantation home, run down from generation after generation not being able to afford proper upkeep. All in all, it wasn’t much of a pretty site, but it was home sweet home to Skylar Bass, and her family.

Skylar was a very free willed 17 year old girl, petite, with long auburn hair and chocolate eyes, sun kissed skin and a curvy figure. She was the type of girl who didn’t mind having to work for whatever she wanted, even if it meant getting dirty. The kind of girl who prayed throughout the school year for summer so she could be at home.

But this Summer was different, her older brother Landon, was coming home from his first year at college upstate and he was bringing a friend, and his name was Chase Adams.

According to Landon there was only there things you needed to know to understand chase’s behavior. He was rich, smart and addicted to woman.

Skylar wasn’t much for knowing how to deal with guys like this. However, she excepted the challenge to get to know why this boy and the way he works. She hadn't yet to meet and was completely determined she would succeed.

Never once did she think she could be so incredibly wrong and yet... so incredibly right.
