Heaven is ruled by a little-known being known only as ‘Grace.’
One of Grace’s most respected angels, MC, comes across a demon and instead of killing it, he lets it go. The punishment for this is severe; dismemberment of wings and being cast out of heaven. The authorities of heaven find out what MC has done, and he is thrown off a cliff into Hell. This is called falling from Grace.
Thereupon, MC must live his new life in hell, a place where fallen angels are not looked on with any kindness. He comes across the demon he let escape and the two of them set out to find out the truth about this so-called ‘Grace.’
Oh, and there are cats.
