Hello persons (humans or otherwise)
Well I was told to describe myself, but that can be taken in so many different ways. Either way I will do so to the best of my abilities, without giving up to much about myself, where would the fun be in that.
First and formost, I am a YAOI fan. I love Yaoi and, if i could, would breath yaoi. I am also what is known as a 'typical yaoi fangirl.' I like small cute little ukes paired with the big, tough semes just because I feel that that is how a 'real' yaoi should go.
Notice how I said 'real' there. I have been told before that yaoi is not real. That it is unrealistic and would hardely ever happen in real life as it is depicted in the books/manga and shows, but that is alright with me. If you are a person who believes that, or doesn't approve of the genre then I would advise you not to read most of what I will be posting or recommending. Otherwise, I think that I will pretty much get along with anyone. Not saying that no one dislikes me, or that I don't dislike anyone back, but I am not that hard to make happy.
Contrary to what some of my friends may believe though, there are other things in the world that I enjoy besided Yaoi. Take Anita Blake for example. I love Laurel K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake" series. It is great. Though there is so much 'romance' going on lately that it is a little hard to see where the plot is going, if there still is one, but they are still pretty good books. And no one can say that Hamilton is not imaginative in her...positions.
I also like to write. Otherwise I wouldn't have joined this particular site. I am actually currently working on a book series of my own with a couple of relatives writing separate stories that we are going to meld together into one in later books. It is surprisingly almost complete and we hope to get it published within the next year or so. The series I am working on is Fantasy, though it is not a yaoi, there are gay characters mentioned. I am straight but I have quite a few friends who are not and I support the gay community all the way through.
For those of you who care, I am a cat person. I like some dogs, but, in truth, most of them scare me. So I prefer my cute little fuzzy cats to them.
((Not really keeping a lot to myself though am I?)) Oh well. But, I don't want a stalker so, unfortunatly, I am not going to put up my real (pysical) discription. Sorry.
I am currently working on quite a few stories that I plan on posting soon, but I an still a little ways away from having them in good enough condition to where I feel comfortable puting them up for others to see. They are getting there though, I promise, and I will have some of them up as soon as I can.
That is enough for now, I think.

IrishYndina on October 23, 2008Hi there kaila, and welcome to the Storywrite website!
My username is IrishYndina but most people just call me Irish (it’s a bit easier to remember
). Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write and hopefully become a published author someday. It is also a place to sharpen your writing skills and display your creativity while being in a fun environment!
You will notice a gold medal by your name.
This is a free trial gold membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. Please take the opportunity to see all that our site offers to you. After approximately three days, the gold membership expires, reverting to a regular FREE membership – you never have to pay to be a member of Storywrite!
We have a new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works:
New Members Group
Along with a new members group, we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any new member:
New Members Contest
It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. Most Storywrite members belong to groups to help them improve their writing skills, to socialize, talk about common interests or otherwise interact with other people of like mind. It is also a great place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.
Group List
You have joined at a great time! We now offer courses on how to improve your writing. At the top of the page is a link that will take you to the classes that Storywrite offers: Learn. For example, one such class is ‘Let’s Get Published’. There are many more. If interested please click the above link or this one.
