Got up this morning and my wife was already frantic., Painting the trim around the windows. The living room had all the furniture piled in the center. The dining room was in such dissarray that it was almost impossible to get to the kitchen and the kitchen, well the kitchen was such a catastrophe that breakfast was eaten standing up. "The Girls" Cheez and Juls were comeing from Australia, via every place else they had been, by bus from Conn. to our place at 9:30 PM and we still were not ready. And from the look of it we never would be.
Sue, my wife, had to work all day. Liz, my sister, might show up to help finish things, but, it was my job, and I had better understand this, my job to finish everything, make dinner and then pick up "The Girls." So, I took my meds, got my eye drops in, ate breakfast, did the cross word, made sure my wife was sure I was going to get nothing done and then started to work.
By the time Liz showed up, I had washed all the dishes. Cleaned the kitchen, started moving things around the dining room and cleaning the floor. Soon, as Liz finished the painting, I got the the floor waxed, with paste wax, cleaned the carpet in the living room and started getting the bathroom clean. Sue came home and Liz went home. By eight o'clock the house was finished. The chicken came out of the oven cooked, we added a salad and I went off and got the girls.
Brought them home and my son and wife were delighted. I think Juls and Chez were equally delighted. Me, I am overjoyed that it all came together, inspite of my worst fears, so perfectly.
Keep you all, kind of in touch with their stay. G'nite.

Oh MY! What a whirlwind of wonder happening all in one twist of fate. AP!
I wanna come to the Open Mic on Monday.
Please pray for me a financial miracle of more than enough money that falls from heaven.
I promise to fly there as soon as I have it in my hands. PROMISE!
What a joy to have Juls and Chez there with you and the family. Hug "The Girls" for me, Sue, and your son as well. Tell them, and please know for yourself that the first time we met was not the last.
Have A Ball!
If the Spirit wills, maybe I will see you ALL on Monday. That is my wish! Besides, heaven knows I need a break! LOL
You are my hero Thomas. I love the fact that you multi-task as good as any of my female friends and relatives.

Always ♥

WOW!!
I am impressed!! And you even have time to write in your journal - you are the 50,000,000 dollar man in my book...
I hope you are enjoying your visit with the girls, and I know they are having a blast!!
You and your wife and family are so kind, it just makes my heart sing out with joy, to know there are still thoughtful people living in this old world. You are an angel.
Tonight, I am thinking about Chez and Jules, and hoping they have a chance to get out to Gaines' Mills, to see my ancestors' historical homestead, and to visit the infamous Civil War grounds. Chez mentioned that she woudl like to do that... I'm not sure about Juls. Tonight, I started watching the History Channel's program, "The World After Humans" or something like that. But I turned it off when I heard the hogs were capable of cannibalization - when there are no humans around to feed them. They showed an enclosed pen, full of lonely, hungry critters, and I felt so bad for them I couldn't watch anymore of it. I imagine a nightmare I won't want to live to see when the end of civilization happens. Anyway, back to your present life's situation... You are the best people I could ever imagine. All you've done for Chez and Juls' visit is simply amazing.
If I ever have a chance to meet up with you guys, I would like to meet you and your wife for coffee or a drink down in the village, just to say hello and exchange a few laughs. You won't need to re-paint your house, OK?!!?
Thank you for sharing your "wonderful" adventures and take care!!
You've made my day complete with your fantastic book of days!!
Take care... and keep it flowing... Peace & hugs, Cyn xx

I look at the parents, all undone. They never saw the signs that their kids were going to do heroin or commit suicide together. Life has been a host of everything else the last few days. We got the boys room half way painted. My wife freaked out at the immensity of painting until my sister came to the rescue. We want to perserve the ways we measured him on the wall. Particularly the point where he came out taller than mom. Big day for the liton Apr 21 6:30 PM, In Life. 200 words. → 3 comments, Add one?

AM I only have the wall left in my bed room and a couple of coats on corner bead. Then it will be time for painting. Checked the classifieds and there were five jobs posted. I am going to have to hang out at some of the kitchen design stores and beat my own drum. It is a process and I do believe God shall provide

AM Listening to old Cat Stevens records and feeling the ache in my shoulder and elbow from a fall I took yesterday. Went to a open Mic. Read a few poems. Well received.
