I've finished! I've actually finished!!!!!!!

I can't believe it! I've finally finished writing 'Conner'-it's taken me a year and a half, on and off, but I've done it, I've completed my first novel!

I know for some people this may not be such a big deal, but for me, I feel like turning cartwheels around my living room!!!

It's due to be published at the beginning of May, and I've already started on Erin

It also means unfortunately, I will be taking most of the chapters down off here, but that is something I was always planning to do. I'll leave up the first three chapters, but there isn't much point me offering it for sale if people can get it for free somewhere lol!

So.....anyhoo, I'm so happy about it and just had to tell everyone

    Conner... That sounds so familiar! I've probably read a bit of it, but that's awesome that you finally have it published! Good luck with your success and I hope to pick it up in a bookstore soon! Haha.

    No way! Congrats! Beginning of May? Sweet, I'll look for it then. You said Lulu right? That's awesome! It's where I published my portfolio for my creative writing class. Amazing quality! Again, congrats! I'll try and be one of the first to get my hands on a copy!

      I'll have it on Amazon as well, so it might be better to get it off there, as I think it's a little cheaper

    Awesome. It's going to be published. I should probably grab a copy when it goes out, considering I never actually finished it on here...Oh well. Anyways, Congrats! I shall be hoping to see this book SOMEWHERE so I can grab it and just hide in my bedroom reading it.

    YAY!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! It must be so cool to have that sense of accomplishment! I'm really excited now! I will definitely buy a copy and read it!       I'm going to be self-publishing from Lulu-I looked at some other self-publishers, and I just didn't like them as much; Lulu seems to be pretty good. I've had some poems published and I just didn't like having no control, or knowing where the press releases were going

      And woohoo for you too! I've just over the last week known I was getting to the end of it, and today it's just like 'woo! Alco-hol!' lol

    Congratulations. This is really something to be proud of. And please do some cartwheels who cares if you break something or someone see's you. You're going to be a published author!!!!!!!!

    Now I actually want to buy the book so when it's out you tell us all so we can all buy it and become your fans. Then when you go on tours for book signings we'll see you. xD Again congratulations!

      Hehe thank you! I will, don't worry, and I love the idea of fans lol! I'll be all 'Pick out every smarties except the orange ones', and I want my room filled with scottish air' lol ! (I won't really, but I might do it once )

      I did actually did do one cartwheel-kinda freaked the cats out lol

    I know the feeling! I was sooooo ecstastic when I finally finished my first complete full length novel, Shylah, too.. and I understand about taking chapters down. LOL. Good luck with the publishing- I'll buy a copy when it comes out

      Thank you It's only going to be self-published, but I've already had a few local bookstores in my area say they'll give me shelf space, so it can only go up from there!
