Should probably update about it

So the Holocaust Rememberance contest has come and past. I placed second in literature! I was excited just for that, but then I looked in the envelope I was handed for winning. $50!!!! I couldn't believe I'd actually won money for something I wrote. It was so cool!

First place winner was a really, really cute guy. Kinda funny story that goes along with that part. I go up to congratulate him and he congratulates me and everything. So I turn away to go find my parents and he's just like see you monday. I turn around to look at ihm with this quizzical expression on my face. So I'm like Monday? You go to my school? And he's just like Yeah, I'm in your English class. lol. I felt so stupid. Thankfully he was just like it's okay I sit on the opposite end of the room. Man, I really need to be more observant. lol.

But uh anyway, it was pretty awesome winning second place. My head's still reeling that I actually got money for something I wrote. If you haven't read it already, the story that won is Memoir's From a Death March and I have it up on here. I extended it a bit for the contest, but it's still essentially the same story I have up on here.
