Just when I thought the freeze was over, here we go again. It's raining and the wind is blowing so hard I think the roof might come off today. I'm sitting here in my office in the attic and the ceiling is breathing. Actually resembing the belly of a mighty beast. It gives me the chills each time I hear that freight train crossing the sky. I had to drive my daughter to school because there was no way she could have peddled against the wind. And oh, it's so cold! We were under severe ice conditions as from New Years eve and it had blessedly broke and was warming a bit since the 12th. But now Winter is giving a curtain call. I was such an optimist and thought we might be spared. Oh well, put on those seatbelts, it looks like we're in for another icy ride.
But I am blessed to have the comfort of a warm home. Plenty to eat and drink, and many hobbies and things to pass the time stuck in doors. My mind strays to those less fortunate. Even in this day of technologies and prosperity, the world is filled with the homeless. And with the recent bank crisis, touching not one country, but spanning the globe, the numbers are rising every day in an alarming rate. I pray that solutions are found to ease the burdens off humanity's shoulders. With faith and hope keeping me company, I know we'll see it through.
Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see. - Hebrews 11:1
Wishing all, the faith to overcome the obstacles in your life!
