I have a baby, but she's not a human baby. 1

This baby is a parakeet.  2

My sister's birthday just went by, and she got a parakeet as well.3

His name is Jack. 4

My baby's name is actually Angel, but she thinks her name is Baby because that's what I always call her. 5

My baby is a girl, and Jack is a boy... Guess what that means!!6

I think my baby is in love, she feeds him and cleans his feathers sometimes. 7

My baby lays eggs, she hasn't this year but if she does, I'm going to assume there's a chick inside. 8

I'm in the bathroom with them right now, they keep chirping to each other. 9

My baby has always bitten me, ever since I got her.10

She still bites me, and I think she always will. 11

But I was wrong about thinking she couldn't make friends, because her and Jack are like THIS. *crosses fingers*12

The only problem is, my baby loves to fly, but Jack can't, so they're always a pretty good distance from eachother. 13

I have them in seperate cages, I read that in a book, but their cages are next to eachother so they can still interact, but incase they don't get along, they can't get into fights. 14

I think they're about ready to get into the same cage, they get along really well, and they might be better buddies if they were closer to eachother. 15

We've had him for only 8 days, so whenever they're in the same cage they've gotta be supervised, and I'm here to help! 16

One way I know Jack loves my Baby is he sleeps in the corner of his cage that's closest to her, and they sleep right next to eachother all night. 17

Jack is really afraid of me though, he flies around whenever I try to touch him, or even when I look at him, but that's okay, especially because he's new. 18

Anyways, they've been in here interacting for about an hour, plus my sister is banging on the bathroom door, so I gotta go. 19
