ok, this is less a journal and more of a question, but hopefully, you can answer it!!!

So, i really like this guy he's
cute
funny
(really really funny)
smart
sensitive
kind
not sexist at all
and really outgoing and friendly

and i really want him to like me but i can't tell if he does
we're friends but only in class because we're part of two diff social groups, and we've just never really tried to hang out
in the beginning of the year some of his friends said he wanted to go to a dance w/ me, but he never actually asked me
he talks to me a lot in class which i think is a good sign
he's not at all awkward around me which i think is good as well

the maaaaaaaaaaaain problem is though that:
he has a good friend in 8th grade (which i am not in) that he hangs out w/ a lot, and i don't know if he likes her, or if they're just friends...


pleeeeeeeease!!! girls!!! can you give me advice???

    i agree w/ cali. if u like a guy u should go 4 it!!! trust me, if he likes the other girl then he'll change his mind sometime. Starting out as friends is good.

    Advice for My Friend

    Kaia, in my opinion, if you like a guy, then you should go for it, even if it means risking getting your feelings hurt. The way it sounds, he probably DOES like you!

    Then again, I thought I guy liked ME, and then I found out who he DID like. But that won't happen to you!

    all you guys are wonderful for commenting!! your advice really helped and we're becoming closer, to sarah: "natiqua" is not nat!!! but i luv winking so (wink, wink!) i'll get back to you on the whole "Threaten" thing. To rachie: you are amazing with advice!!!! im not gonna go w/ notes, but we talk a lot more now cuz i try to sit nxt to him in science so thanks for the sitting tip!!! and to frozen hearts: im in seventh grade-so is he, i think im gonna ask him cuz a lot of girls in our grade actually do that! and i don't think i could be described as shy...     first off u need to get closer w/ "natiqua" (wink, wink) and get 2 know him better. because it'd be super awkward if like i randomly walked up 2 some kid and told him i liked him. so basically just be friends and then give me his phone number so i can threaten him.

    Well... (I found you through "the magical land of lalala" before you changed your account name)...

    First, I'd like to say those are great qualities for a guy to have...

    Second, are you below or above 8th grade?

    And last, you never know until you try- ask him to the next dance... I know, that's pretty irregular usually- meaning guys ask girls- but it's what I suggest... unless you're the shy type, or timid...

    So, that's what I suggest

    BTW... I think you should just ignore the 8th grade girl or whatever... that would definitely help your mind a bit... that's all for now
