been having such an amazing summer, i don't even know where to begin:
-working at the library is so fun! meeting all kinds of wonderful people and the work is fun, busy but relaxed.
-working at the summer school has been really nice too! really enjoying the kids and remember again why i love working with kids so much
-who doesn't like to feel helpful, useful, appreciated?
-we got my mom's classroom all cleared out! it looks great! and she's feeling excited about moving to second grade, and i think it will be a good change for her.
-walking to work has been lots of fun
-the weather has been mild, none of the crazy heat waves of last june
-feel like i've bonded more with my mother this summer (and she somehow puts up with me talking her ear off all the time)
-delicious, hearty home-cooked meals, and getting to do some cooking and try out some recipes as well.
-lots of interesting movies from the library
-my children's book is coming along
-learning a lot about ecuador, very excited to go!
-feeling a little more like myself again
-got to see my niece, finally... she's so adorable!
