Recent Readings Journal 3

Meg Cabot is freaking hilarious. I picked up "Size 12 Is Not Fat" last night, because I've already read "Size 14 Isn't Fat Either", which is the second of three books, and I loved that so much that I went straight to Borders after work and picked up the third. I don't know how much I like reading books out of order (less than I like writing things out of order, if my countless random snippets of BC are anything to judge by), because I forgot a lot about the second book which was referenced in this third one "Big Boned". Just interesting to note, you know?
Anyways, I loved the end. But I have to wonder about people getting all paired up. Is it realistic? Is she just covering all her bases and tying up all loose ends? I like happy endings, but it was sooooo much that I nearly barfed. That's not good.
I'm excited about my first day off work in two weeks, although I couldn't tell you how being up at the lake with the cousins I babysit actually counts as a day off ? Either way, I'm hoping to sit down on the boat and get some one on one time with my lovely story. I have high hopes for Becoming Calypso, and I can't wait to see where it goes, you know???

  • Warning! Spoilers for Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the Mortal Instruments Trilogy (and apparently, Shadow is forced to add halfway into her journal writing, her own novel Becoming Calypso.  Don't know if that's allowed, technically.  Hmm) 1 Bored, not wanting to do anything in particular.
