The Run

Dear Journal,
We were playing another day of hide and go seek tag. It's what we usually play on summer days early in the morning, before we go swimming. I have to admit, I'm one of the fastest people in my neighborhood. I wasn't It luckily, and I hid very well. It took them maybe five minutes to find me. When they found me, I sprinted a very long distance. It was tiring and this shows how competitive I am. Then, I finally gave up which is unlikely, for I convinced myself it was just a game. But deep down inside, I kno it's just a game. and now I need to suffer being it from that. 1

Luckily, we stopped playing after one round, because the sun was blasting down at us, and we sighed.
"Let's go swimming." We decided.2
