While surfing the net (well, letting twitter do most of the work) I came across the term ‘blovel.’ Seemingly it’s a cross between a novel and a blog in which the ‘chapters’ are posted in a blog like manner over a relatively short period of time. The ‘blovel’ site that I encountered this new concept on restricted members to posts of under 1,500 and required new posts to be added within a frequency of one per week (to a maximum of 40 posts.) The result would be a full blovel of 60,000 words written in a max of 40 days, impressive. 1
Now I wonder whether this is any different to writing on AllJournal’s sister site StoryWrite? I’ve always felt compelled to keep my posts on SW short andsnappy so that the reader’s attention isn’t given time to wander. Perhaps I should start my own blovel over there?

Whan I first read about All Journal on the Social Design website my interest was piqued. At first I viewed the possibility of sharing my thoughts in a blog-like fashion through an account that already existed as an exciting prospect; now, however, I wonder... 1 A journal, at least as I recognise the term, is an aon Jul 5 6:39 PM, In Thoughts. 100 words. → Make first comment?

It seems odd to think about it but I suppose I should have outgrown my interest in dinosaurs by now. The thought occurred to me as I searched through the listing of dinosaur related books on the Watersones website and had to wait until the fourth page of listings before finding a title that wasn’t a children’s book (on Jun 12 6:57 PM, In Thoughts. 100 words. → Make first comment?

12:16, April 18th, 2009 I've always struggled with the idea that those around me don't really know me. Taking that my oldest fried, Simon, is a guy I met while in secondary school (sometime around third year) no-one really knows anything about me before the age of fifteen. Here then, is a brief history of me. Eon Apr 18 6:43 AM, In Life. 700 words. → Make first comment?

I like Daniel Craig as Bond; some don’t but I think he plays the part really well. With that in mind I had no qualms about picking up Quantum of Solace on blu-ray shortly after it was released. The movie after all is spectacular and every bit a great action movie. But does it do justice to a blu-ray launch? Read on a

As with my earlier Anime/Manga entry, this is a place for me to keep track of the Blu-Ray disc movies that I currently own. I'd add DVD's but I've far to many of them and they'd cross over with the anime list. Can't wait until I get my first anime blu-ray (sad really, isn't it?) 1 Steg's Blu-Ray List 2 007: Con Apr 16 10:37 AM, In Bluray, Collection, Organisation, Personal, Reminder. 100 words. → Make first comment?

Haha, for those who don't know me well, or at all, I'm a pretty big anime and manga fan. However, all the sites I've visited in order to organise my collection have failed to impress me much. For that reason I'm going to use this journal post to keep track of all my anime and manga. 1 Anime 2 .hack//SIGN Comon Apr 15 1:05 PM, In Anime, Collection, Manga, Organisation, Personal, Reminder. 400 words. → 9 comments, Add one?

15:15; April 15th, 2009 Coming to terms with one's inperfectablity brings not freedom but imprisonment. Just something that I was thinking about at work today. I'm a firm believer that there is an innate 'evil' in every man.
