The Twisted Reality Society

This group is oriented towards those who enjoy writing speculative fiction (both fantasy and science fiction, in a realistic setting). Acceptable genres include:

Mythological realism: Stories that detail the interference of gods and religion in daily reality, both past and present. Scientific/technical realism: Stories that follow the influence of advanced technology in a realistic (both present and future) context. Alternative history: This genre includes all stories and novellas in which situations that occurred in human history are altered for a different outcome or to include different events than actually occurred. Fantastical realism: Stories involving fantastical realism involve the occurrence of occult, supernatural, or magical events in the day-to-day activities of the present or past. Your adult whatnots are tolerated, in fact, encouraged, as long as they are kept within the bounds of reason, and hopefully everybody who applies will know what the bounds of reason are. Any material that the community find unanimously disagreeable will be removed.

 Humor, satire, and morbidity is encouraged. 

All prospective candidates must create a 500-2000 word story, or 50-500 word poem, and publish it on StoryWrite. Message me for a prompt. Users whose pieces earn 70-100 in my 100-point scale rating will be admitted.
