Sorin is the kingdom ruling the sky and land. The people of Sorin are creatures that live in the sky and leap across thin air as if it were the land far below them. However, there is another race that live below them. The Yurin. The Yurin are creatures taken as beasts by the Sorin. They are driven into hiding and taken prisoner if they are caught. The two races are in constant battle with eachother.
Wandering how these two races came to despise eachother? The Maro Fruit.
The Maro fruit is seen as a gift from the gods to both the Sorin and the Yurin. It grows on Sky Trees, that extend to the clouds. It is a Miracle fruit that cures the disease that spreads across the Sorin Kingdom. And is told to be the thing that the ancestors ate to bring about the ability the Sorin people have.
It is told to the Sorin children that the Yurin cannot fly as they are beasts bound to land because of the evil deeds they have done. And that the ears and tails of beasts that they have are to punish them for their deeds.
Of course. No-one really knows the reason the Yurin are different from those of Pure Sorin blood. Then again, no-one has really tried to find out..Until now.
The Sorin people use and protect this fruit while the Yurin are bound to suffer the fate of being land-dwellers with disease sharp through-out the people.
Will the truth be uncovered about the Yurin? Will they finally be able to fly like the Sorin do? Or is it all how it should be already? You can now decide.
