The cities history is long and drawn out, but to make it short lets just say this: At the start, Akkadia was run by the devil himself, he called himself Sinner. However, several things happened in a short period of time. Sinner's daughter, Raefon, became pregnant and after leaving Akkadia for awhile, Sinner saw no reason to continue ruling it so he passed it down to a very capable demon/vampiress by the name of Natalya.
Natalya runs the city with the law of tooth and claw and its everyone for themselves. In this city no one helps one another, its up to you to survive. If you don't, you'll just be one more bloody soul on the devils to-do-list.
