My fave quotes:
"People say I'm indecisive, but I don't know about that."
"I don't want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well."
"Books are the legacies that a great genius leaves to mankind, which are delivered down from generation to generation as presents to the posterity of those who are yet unborn."
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils ...
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
"A good read is like thanksgiving dinner. Some come to stuff their faces and leave fat and happy. Others come to critique everything from the turkey to the place settings. And those special few come to see how its done and hope for the chance to one day make their own. So that others can get fat and happy."
---quoted from my husband, CactusJack (ain't he a genius?)

It's Summer! I want to go swimming so bad ....
I haven't been writing much lately. (Slaps her own hand in punishment) Gotta get back into it.
My characters just haven't been "speaking" to me lately.
I do have a published novel, but unfortunately it's no bestseller. It's called "The ShadowStalker" and you can actually find it on barnes and noble.com or amazon.com, so it's pretty cool that I can google myself.
I actually have a literary agent willing to look at my newest fantasy novel, but I'm trying not to be too excited about that. It hurts when you fall far. I'll be cautiously optimistic instead.
Anyway. I have a bestest-ever husband (you might know him, he's CactusJack), two bad dogs (Caleb and Rowan- my babies), and my newest "baby". My gerbil- grey-brown with a white underbelly- is named Leafe. Since I'm not having kids ever, they're my rugrats.
I've gotta need for good books. My favorite writers are Laurell Hamilton (despite what she's done to Anita Blake), L.A. Banks (because Damali is so cool), and now Stephanie Myers (because I just fell in love with Bella and Edward).
I'm also nuts about Kelley Armstrong, C.E. Murphy, Christina Mead, Tanya Huff, Charlie Huston, and more.
