I'm a sixty-two year old man from California. I live a fairly reclusive life on fifty acres covered with tall fir, pine and tan oak. (My kids say I'm a hermit) My place is at the edge of the Mendocino National Forest. (900,000+ acres) The nearest town (Pop. 6000) is six miles away on a narrow winding two lane road. I live with my wonderful wife of twenty-six years, my dog Bernard and two female cats, Bob and Squirt. I have eight children, five girls and three boys ranging in age from 27 to 47. When I'm not writing I'm working around the place. I'm a retired plumber and I hold a third degree black belt in Kajukenbo, kenpo karate.
I like all kinds of music, but hard rock is my fav.
Started writing when I retired about four years ago and I'm still looking for my niche. Just started trying to write poetry this year. (2009)
