"essexgirl"? It was the first thing I could think of. I came down to London as a student a long time ago--when I actually was a girl--and have lived in East London or Essex ever since. And of course we Essex Girls (check out Wikipedia) never grow old, we just totter off into the sunset on our six inch heels. It's actually a pretty cool place to be living right now; I'm only a mile or so from the site of the 2012 Olympic Park and see the progress of the stadium on my way to work.
I used to write a long time ago, way back before I even moved to Essex, but that whole part of me got lost when I went first into astronomy, then physics, then computer science... science, science, all the way, and then all of a sudden I wanted to write again.
But I should say that I write very slowly; it's using mental muscles I haven't used for years. So bear with me, it may be a while before I feel I have anything worth sharing.
