I never realized we were allowed to talk about ourselves here ><' *sigh* I suppose it doesn't matter, I don't expect a lot of people to look here.

My name, for now, is Elfy. If I chat with you on the CB and if you catch me in a good mood, I've probably told you or will tell you my real name, but I don't like having it displayed all that often (haha, if you're clever though you'll look at my copyright mark ><). I'm a whimsical creature, very fond of the random, and prone towards acts of impulsion. I like beauty, and I know that sounds shallow, but how shallow can it be when near everything is beautiful in my eyes? Except violence, violence and anger are what scare me and put me off the most.

Anyway, I tend to be rather descriptive in my writing, and I know how some people hate that, and I apologize. Most of my pieces are very deep and emotional things, and are meant to be taken seriously, but I have a light side which you'll see come through in my humor and, more recently, romance. I can be kind of poetic...

Feel free to comment me, leave me a note, send me a message. I LOVE to communicate ^^

Beauty is not shallow, it is an open mind. If you recoginize the world for only it's ugliness, than you are either miserable and broken enough to think the world can't be beautiful or stupid enough to not want the world to be beautiful. It is not shallow to see both the beauty and the ugliness.

“You claimed that it [a tree] is old and it is dead, but when you look past its bad features, you see the beauty. Instead of saying, ‘its unsightliness destroys the forest’, you say, ‘look how wonderful!’ Everything is beautiful. Even those who seem to waste away from their beauty still have it. They still carry the squirrel or the bird, even when they are on the verge of falling over. Even the snake, with its deceptive nature, is beautiful. Just because he hisses and bites, does he not deserve to be recognized for his beauty?” -Ike (from the novel "Sheaagos")

hmmm... is it concieted to put a quote from your own book to make a point. idk. I just couldn't put it any better than my ike.

just my thought. sry for wasting so much space in your guest book- you can delete me if you want. ^_^
